I ended up haven’t to make a new account and ordered of there . And once my delivery day came about I ended up with multiple baskets of fruit and veg .? Even the week after I discontinued the other cart order it still arrived and charged my account . Should’ve stuck to Tesco and m&s . Do not recommend . ### 2/5 — Dated. *2025-09-01* August 2025 - Guy Watson, Guardian, “… everyone needs to eat less meat …”. App: meat ordering is now more flexible - headline. 🤦‍♂️ —- Feels quite slow & clunky these days. Long scrolling lists, doesn’t remember filter or sort preferences. Search is close to unusable. Today a ‘kale’ search shows me potatoes, beer and meat. 🤦‍♂️ Great company, B corp… app needs to match. Pushes animal products even more from June 2025. —- From years ago: Please can you add the option to filter including customers “About You” diet preference? I.e plant-based. Then the food tastes delicious - like veggies used to taste when you were a kid - full of flavour and care. Then there’s the company itself, doing everything t can to fly the flag for affordable sustainability, doing what’s right for the long term sustainability of the land, the producers and the customers. It’s the kind that f company our children and their children will look at and say, they cared about us years before we were born. Well done, keep going, we believe in your mission and will help wherever we can. ### 5/5 — Goodbye Supermarkets, Hello Riverford! *2021-03-12* I’ve just received the order this afternoon and I am very satisfied with the quality and the service and their delivery team was lovely! I’m always sceptical of reviews as not all companies are honest but the quality most definitely matched the raving reviews associated with Riverford. This is the first time I’ve ordered groceries online as I have also been nervous to do so out of fear the produce will be of poorer quality than advertised, but this has changed my outlook. You’ve earned yourselves a loyal customer for sure! The company is a great initiative and look forward to be placing regular order with you guys. Thanks for exceeding my expectations. Well functioning app too. ### 5/5 — Brilliant *2020-07-19, version 1.23.1* Riverford are a brilliant veg box delivery company, their delivery drivers are so nice and friendly. Love the undulated veg, have been a customer for years now. ### 4/5 — Excellent service, bit of feedback *2020-06-25* Generally I’d say the app is great and the service itself is excellent. However, when my payment declined, I was told to go online to clear my balance. I immediately did this, but the only way I could do this was to change my card details to clear the balance. It’s not obvious that this is how you pay outstanding balances. You could do with some better signposting around this so people can self serve more efficiently. Everything is turned on in the app and the iPhone settings. ### 5/5 — Great app, great company *2020-05-04* I’ve been a Riverford customer for 11 years and they’re just the best, both for produce and customer service. This app makes it really easy to see what’s coming and change it up to suit your tastes. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Confusing *2025-11-23* Nearly every week I request items extra to the two boxes I receive. Nearly every week I’m told the Order is confirmed but it never shows up. I have requested jars of honey to be delivered once every 3 weeks and that worked for a short time but then stopped without any explanation. Clearly I’m doing something wrong but it’s a mystery what that might be! Not cheap, but quality organic food ensuring farmers paid appropriately; unlike other outlets one could mention. Contacted them to say “love the food; how do I select which menus I want each week”. Their answer “cancel your regular order so that you can choose”. So a company that I’d placed a regular weekly order with and loved the food told me to cancel my regular order. So I did. Idiots. Can’t deal with stupid people at home; have to do that too much at work. ### 1/5 — Can’t see different recipes *2019-09-06, version 1.15.8* Coming from other meal providers it’s easy to see the list of recipes available and switch between them. With Riverford they have names like vegan, meat, simple, foodie. It is impossible to simply see the recipes available and switch on a regular basis ### 1/5 — Not able to use on iPad *2019-07-09, version 1.12.39* I downloaded the app on my iPad but I am stuck in the loop of hell. For some reason, the app has sent an email for me to click on? And when I view the email it is asking me to reset my password. Seriously, bug like this are not acceptable. It’s really lame. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP. It has just wasted my time and my mood! ### 1/5 — Tells me to update to use but no update available *2019-03-25, version 1.11.4* Love to use this but after downloading it wants me to update to latest version. It redirects me to iTunes and my only option is to open the app. The circle then repeats. I had my first delivery this morning and it was absolut perfection. Three boxes packed with a lot of care and delivered on time. The tastiest apples and blood oranges ever.
