However when I walked into Riverwalk a few days after the surgery the therapists were positive and reassuring. During the first three weeks they used passive movements to prevent a frozen shoulder. After three or four weeks they moved on to active shoulder movements and strengthening exercises. Massage therapy was very helpful. I am now confident that I will be able to play tennis again.
