Best dating profile imo. *2026-05-07* This dating app is quite unique. You speak to AI and the it learns about who your person can be and who you are. It made me a stellar dating profile, it wrote stuff about me in a way that honestly I couldn't have. I spoke to some really interesting people who were my vibe and I’m now in a relationship with someone I met here. Very different than other apps and feels more wholesome and less toxic, focusing very much so on match among for others and having others do it for you. Dating apps kinda give me the ick but I was not making any headway finding anyone “organically” in this tiny town anyway. But the concept of Rivet is very unique and cool. It doesn’t show you profiles at first, only when the other users on the app select someone for you do you get to see it. And you are basically doing the same for everyone. The Home Screen has couple images (they are AI but look exactly like the actual picture you give when making a profile) and asks whether you like them together or not. At first I thought it was weird but I swear I am addicted now. You earn points for matching others and making couples. I have got a couple good matches. Too early to say anything about them but I am having fun and honestly it is nice to see something so unique being tried so kudos to the developer. Please build a referral bonus so I invite my friends. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. I do not like how much AI is used in this app. It forces you to pick an AI photo of yourself that looks nothing like you. I am not a fan of AI whatsoever. I don’t like how it auto generates everything for you. It’s a neat feature, but it doesn’t come out correctly. ### 1/5 — Can’t upload photos *2026-06-04* The app won’t let me upload any photos. And anytime I do, it links to the photo guidelines. I’m not trying to upload malicious photos, and I would argue all the ones I’ve tried to upload fall under what they’re looking for. The amount of times I had to retry the profile photos is insane. I finally got through that and got stuck at the uploading screenshots to “catch your vibe” and I could not get a single photo to upload, so I had to skip that part. Now it’s saying I don’t have a good enough “head shot” so I uploaded my headshot from work and it keeps giving me an error, saying my eyes are not open. I’m sorry I have squintier eyes than the perfect ai produced bs photos you have on the marketing. That’s kind of ridiculous. I get the idea of weeding out bad or inappropriate photos, and I appreciate the effort. But if it’s not going to accept real professional photos of me, then it doesn’t work. **Developer response:** Hey, we have photo guidelines in place to moderate out inappropriate photos and foster a safer community. Running something like 0/50. I like the “matchmaking” concept, but it has several problems. It doesn’t actually address the illusion-of-choice issue that plagues dating apps. It also often asks me to rate pairings with insane age gaps, sometimes 18 year old guys with 30+ year old women. On the prompts, our AI helps organize what you share during onboarding into your profile, but everything is rooted in what you tell us about yourself. Our goal is to make a beautiful, magazine-style profile that brings your personality to life. The photos you uploaded are all there, untouched, so the Rivet community can always see the real you. Every member is also photo-verified, so you can trust that who you're seeing is real. I deleted the app after prompted because A. I don’t want to be catfished by some ai filtered photo I want to see real people and B. I use it professionally and there may be issues with it overall but it's the future and we should embrace it. The way they took my round face and skinny body and replaced it with basically an obese person as my avatar was so incredibly jarring and their response was so condescending. It was shocking. I've literally been on dating apps for 30 years and freelanced as a marketer for one. I reached out to their CEO to offer advice and they blew me off twice. I was hoping maybe they learned from the horrible way that Match Group has run but it just sounds like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. ### 3/5 — Unsure *2026-07-27* I’ve only been on the app a couple of days and love the concept. However, I’m not convinced a lot of the profiles aren’t fake- SO many people seem to work at the same hospital, which I can’t find online.
