## What is Rivet?

Your life on a timeline. Rivet brings your to-dos, calendar events, and notes together with your activity from Health, so you can see and plan your day in one place.

CAPTURE IN PLAIN LANGUAGE
Type or say "lunch with Sam Thursday 1 PM" or "move standup to 4." Rivet reads the date and time, shows you exactly what it'll do, and waits for your okay before anything changes. Capture parses on your device by default.

YOUR WHOLE DAY, IN ORDER
• To-dos, events, and notes on one timeline
• Workouts and activity from Health, alongside your meetings
• A clear view of what's planned, what's done, and what's next

WORKS WITH GOOGLE CALENDAR
Two-way Google Calendar, with Google Meet links you can add and join from the timeline. Apple Calendar, Apple Reminders, and Apple Health work too.

SEARCH ACROSS YOUR LIFE
Find to-dos, events, notes, meetings, workouts, listening, and viewing from one place.

LOOK BACK AT WHAT SHAPED YOUR MONTH
Rivet turns your health, listening, and viewing into monthly summaries you can revisit.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Capture intelligence runs on your device by default. Optional online refinement processes only the capture text you submit for that feature.

Rivet is free to use. Apple Reminders import and export are included. Rivet Pro adds recurring to-dos, timed to-do reminders, two-way Google Calendar and Meet, and automatic summaries, with a 7-day free trial.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-20

Added something and lost track of it? The confirmation now offers to take you straight to it.

Reminders and Apple Calendar editing are free for everyone.

You can redeem an offer code from Settings.

Also in this update:

• Tap the month to open the calendar. Hold it to jump back to today.
• Text in 5-Day view no longer reads oversized next to the rest.
• If one of your Google calendars doesn't load, Rivet says so instead of quietly showing you a shorter day.
• Settings tells you whether your subscription renews, ends, or needs a payment sorting out.
• Clearer messages when a purchase can't be completed.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-18

The sky now has a sun. And a moon.

Your timeline's light finally behaves like light: a real sun crosses the sky through the day, cards near it catch a warm glint, and at night a quiet moon takes over. Content scrolling under the capture bar now blurs softly instead of clashing with it.

This update also introduces the Founding Backer offer — while Rivet is new, you can own every Pro feature forever at the founding price. It's in Settings, and it includes Family Sharing.

Plus: a personal note from the maker (hello from Wicklow), one-line events sit properly centred, and a stack of small fixes.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-14

Launch-week fixes:
• Capture always offers a way to add what you typed — no more dead ends.
• Times set to 12:00 AM now stick.
• Double-tapping Add no longer creates duplicates.
• Empty notes can no longer be saved, and a failed save now tells you.
• Lighter, more reliable Google Calendar sync.
• Smoother completion animations and more consistent haptics.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-13
