## What is Riya?

The days after surgery can be frightening and lonely. You're sent home with a one-page sheet, your next appointment is weeks away, and at 2am — in pain — you find yourself wondering: is this normal? how long will it last?

Riya is a warm, private companion for exactly that window: the first weeks of recovery after endometriosis or fibroid surgery — laparoscopy, myomectomy, or hysterectomy. It surrounds you, quietly, with the experience of women who walked this recovery before you.

WHAT RIYA IS FOR
• See where you are — a gentle sense of your recovery alongside the experience of women who went before you. Company, never a grade.
• Hear from women further along — real voices from women a few weeks ahead of you, so the reassurance comes from someone who has been there.
• Ask your stage — type a plain question and get a warm, sourced answer, or a gentle nudge back to your care team when that's the right call.
• Keep a private notebook — the 2am thought, the question for your surgeon. It stays on your phone.

Riya is a companion, not a clinician. It is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice. Your recovery is shown as company, never as a prediction for you, and Riya points you back to your care team whenever that's the right thing to do.
