## What is RKORD?

RKORD is a field preamp recorder for people who record sound where it actually happens a temple courtyard, a stairwell, a street corner and want the character of a real preamp on the way in, not just a clean capture.

THE CHAIN
• Preamp — analog-style soft-clip saturation. Push past 0 dB and it rounds off instead of digitally clipping.
• Spread — a delay-based stereo widener that lifts the low end as it opens, up to +6 dB.
• EQ & Comp — 3-band EQ and a FET-style compressor with a live gain-reduction meter, both zero-latency.
• Tape Echo — a short, modulated delay with real wow-and-flutter character, syncable to the built-in metronome.
• Denoise — adaptive per-band noise reduction that learns hiss, hum, and wind on the fly.

BUILT NATIVE
No web views, no bloat. RKORD is written directly against AVAudioEngine, so I/O latency stays in the single digits the chain sounds and feels the same whether you're capturing rain on a tin roof or bells in a temple courtyard.

TAKES THAT NAME THEMSELVES
Every recording is automatically named after where you made it no more scrolling through "Recording 47." Real-time waveform, one-tap rename, one-tap share.

METRONOME, WITHOUT THE CLICK IN YOUR TAKE
A silent visual metronome two dots tracing an arc, marking the downbeat that's audible only in your headphones and never printed to the recording.

PRESETS
Three nameable slots save your whole chain gain, spread, EQ, comp, reverb, tape echo, denoise so DRUM, FIELD, and VOCAL (or whatever you call them) are one tap away.

Free to download and record. Unlock the full chain saturation, spread, tape echo, adaptive denoise, and presets with a single one-time purchase. No subscription, ever.
