## What is rmmbrly?

rmmbrly is your personal memory engine for the things you save online. Save links, posts, notes, and photos in one private place, then find them using the details you still remember.

The restaurant with the courtyard. The recipe with anchovies. The article a friend recommended. You don’t need the exact title. Describe what stayed with you, find the saved item, and return to the original.

The internet remembers posts. rmmbrly remembers meaning.

SAVE IT IN SECONDS
Paste a link, jot a note, or add a photo. Share straight from Safari or any app with the iOS share sheet, or email a link to your personal save address. rmmbrly fills in the rest.

IT READS WHAT YOU SAVE
Every save is given a title, a summary, and tags, with the key takeaways pulled out, so a link you saved months ago still makes sense today. How long that takes varies, and big imports fill in over a few days.

SEARCH THE WAY YOU REMEMBER
Describe what you’re after, like “that pasta recipe with anchovies” or “the article about sleep and focus”, and rmmbrly matches on meaning, not exact words. You don’t have to remember the title. Tell it when a result is it, close, or not it, and it keeps looking from what you said.

SEE WHY EACH RESULT SURFACED
rmmbrly shows the evidence behind a match: the words it recognized, where they matched, and a jump straight to that moment in the source. It won’t show you a summary it can’t back up.

PEOPLE
Say who a save came from or who it’s for, and find it later by that person: “what did Maya recommend”. Set a follow-up about a save next to someone. Your people, and what you connect to them, stay private to you.

SHARE WITH PEOPLE YOU KNOW
Connect with someone who uses rmmbrly through an invite link, then send them a save with a short message, or share a collection you can both add to. Only what you choose is shared, and you can stop sharing at any time.

BRING YOUR BACKLOG WITH YOU
Already have years of saves elsewhere? Import them from your own data export: Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Reddit, Pocket, Raindrop, Instapaper, Notion, Obsidian, Readwise, or browser bookmarks. You upload the file yourself; importing never signs in to those accounts.

REDISCOVER WHAT YOU FORGOT
Highlights brings back saves worth a second look. Your library groups itself by theme, so you can see what you actually keep coming back to. Plans gather saves for a trip or a project.

COLLECTIONS
Group saves into Collections for a trip, a project, or a reading list. Share one with a link if you want to. Nothing is shared unless you choose it.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Only you can see your library unless you share something. No ads, no selling your data, no tracking you across apps. Analytics are off until you turn them on. Optional location and calendar context are off until you turn each one on in Privacy settings. Export everything or delete your account and all its data, whenever you want.

rmmbrly is currently invite-only. Join the waitlist at rmmbrly.io to request access.

### 5/5 — I LOVE THIS!!

*2026-08-30*

This app is exactly what I needed!! I save soooo many things on tiktok and never get back to them because I don’t want to scroll through all my saves, but being able to search my saves through here is a lifesaver! I’m able to search all my nail options I’ve saved to decide which one to do for that month, my studying tips for law school, my home decor ideas, my wedding ideas, and so much more!! I use this app all the time & it’s a lifesaver, so happy this came out 💞

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-10-23

People

* People is now in the More menu. Tell rmmbrly who you know and who you follow, and your people get their own section, apart from every other name found in your saves.
* When you save something, you can say who it came from or who it is for. If your note already says it, like “Maya recommended this”, rmmbrly offers that as one tap.
* Search for someone by name, or ask “what did Maya recommend”, and what you connected to them comes up first. If two people share a name, rmmbrly asks which one you meant.
* Set a follow-up about a save next to a person. It shows under Open loops on their page. Nothing is sent to them.

Sharing

* Connect with someone you know through an invite link, then send them a save with a short message, share with a group of people, or share a collection you can both add to. Only what you choose is shared, and you can stop sharing at any time.
* Shared with you, in the More menu, shows what people sent you and marks what is new.
* Anything someone shares with you has a menu to report it or block them. Blocking hides what they shared and stops them sharing with you, and they aren’t told. Undo it in Profile, under Account.

Finding things

* Every result asks one question: That’s it, Close, or Not it. Tap Close, say what’s different, and search keeps looking from what you already said.
* The note you add when you save now counts as much as the title, and a result says when your note is what matched.
* Searches that mix a few half-remembered clues, like a person, a rough time and a topic, work for everyone. When a search could mean several saves, rmmbrly may ask one quick question back.
* Words like “now” and “about” no longer hide saves by narrowing your search to a date.

Plans and reminders

* Plans is in the More menu. Open a plan to see what’s attached, rename it, move its date, or archive it.
* Reasoning, also in the More menu, keeps a decision, an experiment, a hunch or a lesson, linked to the saves behind it.
* On iPhone, rmmbrly asks for notification permission the first time you set a reminder, so reminders can reach your phone. Repeating reminders show under Reminded each time they go off.

Saving and import

* Your personal save address now sits next to the other ways to save: share a link to Mail and send it there. Attachments in emails you forward are saved as their own items.
* Event pages show when and where the event happens, with a button to add it to your calendar.
* Imports from Pocket, Raindrop, Readwise, Instapaper, Obsidian and Notion keep your tags, and Import has its own place in the More menu.
* A link you save while offline keeps its Private setting and waits for a connection, even if you sign out and back in.
* Links wrapped by Gmail, Facebook or Outlook save as the page they point to.

Fixes

* Exporting your library or an event’s calendar file now hands you the file through the share sheet on iPhone.
* Photos you save get a real title and summary again.
* Home no longer goes blank after switching tabs, and going back keeps your place in long lists.
* The clock and battery stay readable in Dark mode, and the Save window stays in view while you type.
* Many smaller fixes to titles, search results and wording.
