However, devices don’t even read new iOS is there a way for you guys to update the app and also make it compatible with V10? I am a DJ educator and it would save me a lot of time and resource instead of getting a physical RMX 1000 for my DJ School. One thing missing for me: MIDI assign ability. I’d really like to map the controls to a hardware MIDI controller for Live use. It hasn’t had an update in a while, hopefully Pioneer will read this review and implement this suggestion. For the cost of the app it would definitely benefit and convince more to buy it I think. I pretty much most other FX apps have this type of functionality built in now ### 1/5 — Rip-off *2019-07-14, version 1.1.3* If you have iTunes cloud none of your songs are supported. Complete rip-off and waste of money. ### 1/5 — App has so much potential but needs updates... *2019-07-06, version 1.1.3* The app works ok with my DJM nexus 2 but there is latency in the cue on headphones when using with DJ sotware, even at all the lowest latency. It also needs a sample loader function so i can load my own sample banks. A biggers user interface is a must well. There is so much wasted space, why? Customers pay top dollar to use this app with your mixers but it's not done very well for ipads. Adding ableton link would be nice as well. So please pioneer, modernise this app for your loyal customers. ### 2/5 — Does *2019-06-05, version 1.1.3* Does not work with computer ### 1/5 — Inability to lock on to BPM *2019-03-16, version 1.1.3* Using this with my Pioneer DJM-450 via the usb effects send and return. Unfortunately this doesn’t really work very well...the app can’t lock on to the BPM of the track being played which means the x-pad is all but useless as out of timing with the music being played. Even when you tap to correct the BPM it still doesn’t work. On top of that, a touchscreen doesn’t really lend itself to lots of controls and knobs, and while it can never really mimic a hardware device, it just doesn’t really work terribly well regardless. I had high hopes for this in that it might replace my RMX-500 (hardware effects), but it doesn’t! Still looking for some decent effects that will work via the usb send / receive through audiobus....the search continues. The drawback is the auto sync simply does not work. It doesn’t even work for techno and minimal with pronounced 4/4 time signatures. Come on a Pioneer? You can do better than this. I’m a DJ and really want this to practice with. Even the tap tempo doesn’t work. I can tap a consistent tempo and it jumps all over the place. There is a glaring omission though: It is prime for AUv3, especially when used in a live performance/jam session with AUM. Considering this is a version of a real hardware device, I'm glad to have it useable with Inter-App Audio, mixing with various synths and drum machines.
