But that doesn’t make up for the fact that the satellite images from MapBox for this area are at least 6 years old. Both times the app sucked all my available data. If I quit it and restart it, it will open a couple of times—very slowly—and then start stalling again. I grew up there and moved away many years ago. During one of the springtime storms this last month I loaded the app to watch the weather. I used it to travel back east and forgot about it. Then I got a weather notification for the area I live in. I am getting more up to date weather info from this station with current radar than local information. So I now use this app for my Northeast Ohio weather updates and I can’t thank you enough!! It was clear how serious and life threatening this situation was, no doubt about it. Information was timely and accurate, complete and well localized. Also exquisitely helpful was being able to livestream WIFR 23 News/ Weather in the basement with the iPod or iPhone.
