In this day and age it really needs sorting. Continually freezing, poorly designed. And to think you spend a fortune on a subscription that is totally unreliable. ### 1/5 — Not intuitive or helpful *2022-05-15* I’ve set up many devices over the years and this app offers one if the poorest user experiences. When I went through the steps first time all seemed well until I switched on the RA device. That kept looking for a 3G connection when Wi-Fi was available. I tried to start the whole process again but now I’m told I can’t enter the RA device details as they’re already registered to my account. I know that! I tried creating a new vehicle - that didn’t work either as I’m prevented from re-entering the device details and I cannot see any option to simply select the device from a list of known devices. I’ll now need to call RA tomorrow and ask for help. Setting up a device in the 21st century should be a simple and straightforward process. Purchased the Drive 2 and took it back less than a week later! It won’t work with iPhone 17 unless you turn off mobile data, not very helpful. It also runs via WiFi, no good if you have Apple Car Play on WiFi because you can’t run the 2 together. Road Angel solution, turn your Car Play WiFi off, ok then it won’t work!! ### 1/5 — Can never login *2026-01-31* Don’t buy the device, you’ll create an account and even customer support can’t help reset your password. You’ll never be able to update settings or check subscriptions! ### 1/5 — Not a positive experience *2025-12-11* Recently purchased a Road Angel dashcam and this associated app was suggested by customer service to use. Can’t even register the dashcam for warranty purposes. Any buttons I select take me absolutely nowhere. Please get these fundamental issues sorted. Currently wouldn’t recommend this app. ### 1/5 — Bad start - frozen on warranty registration screen 🤡 *2025-12-03* Cannot even get past the warranty registration page. Download the app, verified email and the app freezes. Only just seeing the reviews about this and its sister app Halo. Based on those this will not be the last review I make. ### 1/5 — Does not work. *2025-11-10* Installed app, logged on with Apple account. I get to the permissions screen and it will not go any further, click continue nothing happens. Closed the app re opened and it will not give me the option to login with my previously created Apple account. Can't live without it. ### 2/5 — Poor update *2026-07-28* What have you done to the app with the most recent update, it’s ruined it, you said it was supposed to give you reduced speed limit ahead warnings, all it does is constantly tells you speed limit 20mph when you are in a 30mph zone or 30mph when you are in a 40mph and the speed limit is not even lower. One road I drive along every day is 40mph from one end to the other and it constantly keeps saying speed limit 30mph, speed limit 30mph Speed limit 30mph It’s driving me mad! You obviously don’t use the same data base as the old pure which I originally had because that was always accurate. Not been impressed with my pure sync from day one. There are some serious issues and bugs with this app that need to be resolved! ### 2/5 — Poor app *2025-06-30, version 1.2.18* This app needs a serious update.
