## What is Road to 5K?

Your road to 5K starts with the run you can do today.

Road to 5K combines an adaptive run/walk plan on iPhone with live coaching on Apple Watch. Start with your current running ability, build consistency, and see your progress along a desert road toward your first continuous 5K.

A PLAN THAT ADAPTS
Your next workout responds to completed running segments, recent training, and optional effort feedback. Run and walk intervals develop into longer stretches at your pace, without a fixed week-by-week deadline.

COACHING ON YOUR WRIST
Apple Watch guides your run, walk, warm-up, and cooldown segments with on-screen instructions and haptics. Choose coaching audio from your iPhone or Apple Watch. Headphones deliver full spoken guidance; Watch speaker mode keeps cues brief. See time, distance, heart rate and segmented workout progress, with a Live Activity on iPhone.

AT HOME ON THE TREADMILL
Get adaptive walking and running speed suggestions in km/h. Adjust them to stay comfortable, then save the speeds you actually used after your workout.

PROGRESS YOU CAN SEE
Review past runs, personal bests, and milestones. Get recovery suggestions before the next session. After reaching 5K, continue with comfortable maintenance runs to help keep your running habit.

SIMPLE SETUP, PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account is needed. Choose your current running ability; age and post-run effort ratings are optional. Workout and profile data stay on your devices, with HealthKit integration for Apple Health.

TRY FIVE WORKOUTS FREE
Your first five completed coached workouts are free. A monthly auto-renewing subscription is required to start additional coached workouts. Past results and progress remain available without a subscription. Your local price is shown before purchase.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings.

REQUIREMENTS
Requires iPhone with iOS 18 or later and a paired Apple Watch with watchOS 11 or later. This is general fitness coaching, not medical advice. Heart-rate estimates and recovery suggestions are not a guarantee of safety.
