### 5/5 — Thank you!

*2020-12-13, version 3.1.3*

Hey Ryan, I have been canyoneering using your beta for many years now and your app is absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. It has kept us from trying to climb out the wrong gully more than once! Any chance you’re planing to add any Lake Meade NRA canyons to the southwest section?

### 5/5 — Amazing App

*2020-11-13, version 3.1.3*

Well put together. The offline Maps with GPS are a must have. Great work on this app! Quality maps and guides are worth the $.

### 5/5 — love this app but it crashes on me constantly

*2020-10-18, version 3.1*

app always crashes when i’m looking at the map for more than 10 seconds. please fix!!

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2020-05-19, version 3.0.1*

This is an absolute fantastic app for Canyoneers, hikers etc. especially for canyon country. I have used it to plan and then navigate many trips. Works without cell service.

### 5/5 — Stellar

*2020-01-14, version 2.0.4*

Amazing work putting this app together! The info, descriptions, and directions are as deep as the canyons themselves. I do wish the area maps would zoom in a little more, but that’s a small thing.

### 5/5 — Hands down best canyoneering app. Period!

*2019-10-18, version 2.0.4*

Easy to follow directions and gps maps that work without reception. We use this app non-stop to find and navigate our adventures! Thanks for making this and to those looking, spend the few bucks and support this treasure of info!

### 5/5 — Very good app. More than worth the price.

*2019-09-27, version 2.0.4*

I just wish that I was the only person with access to the app or the web site.

### 5/5 — Solid directions, easy format, what else do you need!?

*2019-08-22, version 2.0.4*

I have been using this app for the last couple years on various outings. I utilize several books and sites to verify beta before any trip. Road trip Ryan’s beta has been spot on and the app is so convenient rather than saving websites or transcribing from a book. My only qualm is the gps formatting- who really uses utm anymore? I get that it’s easy for reading maps, but a pain for inputting into the gps where everything else is dms format. Overall love the app and worth every penny! Keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Must have

*2019-06-25, version 2.0.4*

If you canyoneer in Utah this is a must have. Super helpful to have access to beta without cell service. The gps waypoints are also really nice because there’s no second guessing of being in the correct canyon.

### 5/5 — Best beta for Canyoneering

*2019-06-10, version 2.0.4*

Can’t beat it. Don’t get lost or get into a canyon that is too difficult. This app helps with it all. So RAD!!!

### 5/5 — Really good app

*2019-06-05, version 2.0.4*

Easy for the technically challenged to download. Intuitive to use. Very convenient in the field. Great to have an offline overview of an entire area to let you choose. I'd give it 6 stars if i could

### 5/5 — Pure Joy Distilled into an App

*2019-05-13, version 2.0.4*

This App works amazing for the fact that it drops a GPS dot onto a topo map making finding your way in and out of these canyons a piece of cake. Great Beta!

### 5/5 — Great Beta for the Colorado Plateau Secrets

*2019-04-09, version 2.0.4*

I highly recommend anyone get this app if going hiking or canyoneering on the Colorado Plateau.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2019-04-01, version 2.0.2*

Love that this information is all in an app as opposed to printing beta all the time. And love the fact you can download all the beta for an area and view it without service!

### 5/5 — Super helpful

*2019-03-31, version 2.0.2*

Great app, really helped keep us on track. Love the map/gps feature!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — Premium charges for every area

*2020-05-25, version 3.0.1*

On an iphone out of service, the photos do not show up.
Also, I definitely didn’t see a strong disclosure that purchasing one area would still require purchasing another area.
Waste of $7!

### 2/5 — Almost amazing

*2017-07-16, version 1.2.7*

The map guides you along some "trails" that aren't even trails so you end up bushwacking and climbing mountains with no trail. Mostly good though, it saved me sometimes but sometimes almost stranded me.

### 4/5 — Aargh!

*2024-11-24, version 4.3*

Love this, so well formatted, so detailed, so informative. Used it to plan my trip to Moab area. But…now that I’m here, app crashes the moment I try to open up my downloaded Moab area info!

### 4/5 — App Area Download issues

*2023-04-09, version 4.2*

Historically I’ve loved this app. I got a new phone and have had news to redownload areas within the app again. Every time it times out.

### 4/5 — Actually pretty sweet

*2020-11-17, version 3.1.3*

Good enough info to justify the price.

Would recommend adding some sort of easy to read map of Utah with different shading so you know which area is covered with which additional purchase.

### 4/5 — Excellent app...

*2019-04-27, version 2.0.4*

I absolutely have loved this app. The instructions have been very reliable and I love the fact you can see where you are on the map while going through these canyons and hikes. It doesn’t matter if you have cell service or not, the maps are there and you location on them. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is due to the lack of more user ratings on canyons. I think you would end up with a better average report and understanding of what some of these canyons and hikes offer if you had a broader rating pool. Regardless, I use this app almost every time I head out.

### 4/5 — Great App Intro to Utah

*2017-10-26, version 1.3.0*

It is the best app out there for finding your way around slack he needs and hikes in the southwestern part of Utah. The fact that the GPS module works while you're in airplane mode and you can see your track while hiking in different remote areas can be reassuring for beginner hikers. A couple improvements would be nice, such as being able to zoom in on the maps further, as well as having the pictures downloaded on the app without having to be connected to the Internet. You have to take Ryan is taking times with a grain of salt, they could be right on for athletic hikers, but could take beginner hikers 1.5 to 3 times longer.

### 4/5 — Great app for canyoneers

*2017-04-24, version 1.2.4*

The beta is spot on ( so far!) The only thing missing is photos. The website has photos, the app doesn't. Otherwise perfect!

### 5/5 — An Amazing Resource

*2024-10-17, version 4.3*

I have used this app frequently all over southern Utah and it is awesome. The map mode is awesome and has helped me stay on track quite a bit. Definitely worth the money!

### 5/5 — Great

*2024-09-01, version 4.3*

I use this app every time I want to go on an outing with my buddies or family. Has all the beta I need to get it done safely and navigate! And regular updates is appreciated.
