## What is Roadbook '71?

Roadbook '71 turns a recorded GPX loop into a 1970s rally co-driver's roadbook - and then drives it with you.

Import any GPX track and the app matches it to real roads, builds turn-by-turn guidance, and draws every junction as a hand-inked "tulip" diagram computed from your own recording. Join a loop at the point nearest you, drive the full circle, and arrive back where you joined. Stop for lunch and continue later - the book keeps your place.

### 1.3 — 2026-09-15

Send a route to someone as a link. Publish a loop from the roadbook and it opens in their app complete: the turn-by-turn route, the tulip diagrams and the printed page.

Tap the flag at a junction the app got wrong - a closed road, a better line, a turn it missed - and it is filed against that route, so the routes get better the more they are driven.

A drive is now recorded as you go rather than only at the end, so a phone that dies halfway does not take the drive with it.

All of it is anonymous, all of it is one switch in Settings, and "Delete what I've sent" erases it. Off means nothing leaves the phone.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-08

Roadbook '71 now drives the 4-inch square terminal as well as the 4.3-inch one, and sends the layout that fits the glass it is linked to.

The name you give a loop sticks: it survives opening the file again, and you can rename a route from its own screen by tapping the title.

The terminal's idle screen also lists the places you have driven to recently, so the glass can take you somewhere and not only start a loop.
