Drive. That is the whole workflow. RoadBook turns every car journey into a permanent, private, exportable record — route, distance, time, speed, altitude, g-force — nothing to fill in. Tap start and the drive files itself: a road trip worth remembering, proof of what your car did, or a tax deduction. JOURNEYS WORTH KEEPING • Name a drive and add photos — the route says where you went, the pictures what it looked like. • Group a journey's drives into one Road Trip: the whole route on one map, however many days it took, with distance, days and places (Pro). • Explore: every route you have driven on one world map, with lifetime distance and every country and city reached (Pro). • A home-screen widget with your week, streak and next milestone, and a Live Activity on the Lock Screen while you drive. • Year in review: your driving year on one screen, with a card to share. • GPX and JSON export, drives sent as a file or a live link (Pro), share cards free. LEADERBOARDS — free, and opt-in • Invite-only groups with friends: weekly distance and drive count. • Or a public board for your country across six metrics and five windows. Browse without joining; joining takes a consent step and publishes only a name you choose, those figures and whether you have Pro. Leaving erases them. FOR THE ENTHUSIAST • Every drive keeps its top speed, peak g and a score out of 100 — how hard you braked, how fast you took that corner. • Speed, altitude and g-force as three synchronised timelines on one screen — pinch into any stretch of road and every statistic recomputes (Pro). • G-force runs through a vehicle-motion classifier, so a knocked device isn't counted as the car. Your score never leaves your device — never sold or shared. • All-time personal bests from ordinary drives: 0–100 km/h free, 0–50 to 0–300 and high-speed braking Pro. Times are GPS estimates, closed-course use. DRIVING MODE — depends where you drive A full-screen map with live traffic and north-up, heading-up or driving views. Where available, RoadBook calls out speed and red-light cameras ahead — countdown, chime, spoken alert — matched to the road you are on, so the other carriageway stays quiet. Free, not a paid extra. Hong Kong and Singapore use official government data; elsewhere OpenStreetMap, which varies. Where the law restricts these apps it shows nothing: no camera locations in Germany, Switzerland or Austria, none pinpointed in France. Pro adds live parking vacancy, traffic-camera images and Hong Kong meter occupancy. MILEAGE AND TAX — the logbook is free • One tap files a drive as Business, Medical, Charity, Moving or Personal — then RoadBook learns your patterns and does it for you. Totals and estimate free. • Tax years that start where yours does, standard rates or actual expenses, fuel and servicing, receipts as evidence. Reports name where each drive began and ended. CSV, PDF (Pro). PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no sign-in, no RoadBook server — drives stay on your device and in your own cloud storage, and we never receive them. Free tier can do a lot in the app already, and it is worth the price for pro as well. The indicator could be missed entirely on your very first drive, and could disappear too early when drives sync through iCloud — which made a trip that was saving correctly look like it had been lost. • Leaderboard group invites are more reliable, and joining a group you were invited to no longer fails in certain cases. • A new personal best is only announced when it really is faster than your previous best. • Improved crash diagnostics, so problems reported from your device are easier to trace and fix. Thank you for the reports — they are what made these fixable. ### 1.2.13 — 2026-08-10 SAVING YOUR DRIVE IS NOW VISIBLE Finish a drive and the Trips tab tells you it's being saved, right where you'd look for it. A long drive on a big library takes a moment to store, and until now nothing said so — which made a perfectly safe drive look like a lost one. The notice clears the instant the drive appears. HAZARD REPORTS STAY VISIBLE IN BUSY AREAS Driving Mode now asks for only the reports that can still be live, newest first. In places where lots of reports have built up over time, the map was gradually running out of room to show the current ones. JOINING A PRIVATE LEADERBOARD IS MORE ROBUST Hardened how invitations to private leaderboards are granted and accepted, so a join can't be blocked or misdirected by anyone else.
