Today I checked the usage, and RoadClub has used 20% of my battery before 10am. This is unacceptable. ### 3/5 — It would be higher *2026-07-14, version 2.7.1* It’d be more like a 4-5* rating , but now when I drive it thinks I’m on a train and haven’t gotten the points I should have earned in more then a week. Worked great at first now not sure what happens. I don’t check it everyday and you can only change it same day. ### 3/5 — Hopefully change *2026-06-27, version 2.7.0* I first found this app downloaded it and used it. It was great. I was driving. I was earning points then I could use the points to get rewards like Amazon or whatever selective gift cards they have. Then they updated the app. Which is totally fine because apps get updated. The problem is when they updated this app. They now said you can only earn up to a certain amount then you redeemed for reward and you’re done you may not earn any more points. So I was annoyed because I was not gonna keep using an app that would not let me earn points anymore towards reward. They said you can keep seeing your safe driving. I like apps that reward me for driving. I drive to work a lot like everyone else does I go out with my husband or anyone it would be great to earn rewards. I have re-downloaded this app and it looks completely different. I’m going to test it and drive to work today and will give a full update later on my break. I am hoping this app has changed because I would love to keep using this app so we will see. ### 2/5 — Pretty good app *2026-06-25, version 2.7.0* I like the purpose of the app. However I can’t get any help over the help chat. Nobody responds. It would be 5 stars if I could get ahold of a human to answer some questions. Even the AI bot isn’t responding. Useless. ### 3/5 — Inconsistent *2026-05-16, version 2.6.0* Love this app, BUT the points system feels off. For example, one trip will say I lost 4 points, but when I edit a different trip, the points from the first trip suddenly increase…it comes across as really inconsistent and kind of scammy. Also, I never actually receive the weekly bonus scratch and I’ve been using the app for at least a year if not more. ### 2/5 — It’s OK *2026-05-07, version 2.6.0* The reward payout have gotten worse over time. It went from $5 a week to $2 a week to now twenty cents a day IF you have a perfect score. It also only works about 80% of the time. I always open the app to make sure it works and tracking my driving but it doesn’t record the trip sometimes. ### 2/5 — Can be annoying *2026-04-20, version 2.5.0* I’m not sure how exactly they know when you’re a driver or passenger, but it’s so easy to lose points even as a passenger. There have been a few times where I’m the passenger and lose all my points, but I only have 1 edit per day. It’s unfortunate that I’m losing points even if I’m not the one driving and you can’t really fix it with only 1 edit per day. I think this app can be a lot better if you can change whether you’re a passenger or driver because you lose points regardless. ### 1/5 — Don’t use for Flex Deliveries! *2026-04-12, version 2.5.0* Braking is inaccurate, you don’t earn much (at most .20 cents a day for PERFECT driving), if you speed up to pass someone it counts against you for speeding, and if you work for Amazon Flex it counts as distracted driving when you stop to do deliveries. I live in a rural area where animals dart out into the road a lot. If I didn’t brake fast, I would have hit them. There is no option for this when you’re trying to get your points back… I got so frustrated I just deleted it. ### 1/5 — No longer accurately recording drives *2026-07-05, version 2.7.0* The app used to be great however whatever update has been done has now changed the algorithm. The app now always puts me as a passenger in my own car and I can only change it one time when it's wrong. I don't drive too much anymore so I would like to receive credit when I actually do drive. If you forget to turn it off it records driving even know your not using it with uber app. Its really none of your dam business what I do in my off time. Its like having big brother watching 24/7. It takes points away when your not using uber app. You need to fix it I have other apps for gig work. Its design to track you all the time. You start with 20 points. And you’ll lose points every time somebody gets on your phone. I have a child special needs gets on my phone all the time so I never get any points. For example, “is there a limit on the amount of money I can earn?” Their answer is yes. Yes, WHAT? What is the limit? The $ amount would be nice. It links to another program terms page for more details of which bone of it says what the limit is. Why even put that question there if you don’t answer it? Shady business. ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-05-14, version 2.6.0* I think it’s set purposely sensitive so that it removes all your earned points so they don’t have to pay anything, mine will record hard braking when I’m just driving on the highway, it think it’s intentional. I no longer text or pick up calls when driving. I have also put a stop open any other app on my phone when. At first my scores weren’t good but with this apps help my driving got better and a few extra dollars in my pocket!! Such as when the speed limit is set around 30 hitting 35 will cause you to be marked for speeding in conjunction with say the "Amazon Flex" app. However it does allow you more space to earn more points(which equates literally to money). However one of my big concerns is the incentive for Safe and careful drivers. In theory you can make 20 points (which equates to 20 cents USD) unless you mess up, and lose points.... Challenges won't populate. I feel that's unfair.
