### 2/5 — What happened to the Roadie 1 support?

*2026-06-11, version 3.6.3*

Just went to use it after a long time and discovered that my Roadie isn’t a listed device anymore. Am I right?

### 2/5 — App language is Japanese, synch not working!!

*2026-05-16, version 3.6.3*

Where do I get my app to display English or German?? No trace of it in the help section. I misspelled the name of a guitar, deleted and replaced it in the app but the tool continues to show me the deleted misspelled guitar name. Very annoying. A part from that the thing works well. But usability is IMPORTANT TOO.

### 2/5 — Won’t connect

*2025-11-28*

The roadie 4 won’t connect to the app. The app starts to sync but then closes. I’ve downloaded both the app and the tuner updates but it still doesn’t work, I’m very disappointed. The Roadie 3 works fine.

### 4/5 — Problème accibilité avec voice over.

*2025-11-06, version 3.4.0*

### 2/5 — Roadie 1

*2025-07-25*

I just tried to use my Roadie that I paid a lot of money for. It tells me that the support is no longer available. If I knew this would expire I would never have bought the thing in the first place. I guess its just to bad for the customer.

### 2/5 — Portrait mode support ONLY on Ipad 😡

*2025-03-09*

Many people have keyboards attached to their iPads restricting them to landscape mode operation, others simply prefer that mode. There is no reason to not support landscape mode other than laziness.

### 4/5 — Language change! Language change in the app.

*2023-11-27, version 3.2.2*

Where I can change the language in the App? It‘s not intuitive, also to store a picture for every guitar. Tuner function works quite well!

### 3/5 — No back button

*2023-07-29*

When you’re in the device settings menu in the app, there is no way to get back to the main menu. You have to close out the app to get back.

### 2/5 — App freezes

*2021-12-13*

The Tuner is great but unfortunately you need the app to easily create custom tunings. But the app keeps freezing and it just crashes. This really takes away from some of the nice features the physical tuner can do. Don’t buy the tuner if you want to make custom tunings until this gets fixed on the app. I gave it a 2 stars only because the physical tuner it’s self (Roadie 3) is actually a nice product.

**Developer response:** Hello! This issue is showing up on a few cases and we have already identified and resolved it. Please reached out to support@bandindustries.com so we can walk you through the solution.

### 1/5 — App crashes, unusable.

*2021-10-30, version 3.2.1*

iPhone 13, iOS 15.0.2., Roadie 2 Issues connecting to Bluetooth. Once connected, app freezes and it is unusable.

### 2/5 — Gut strukturierte App-leider nicht funktionsfähig

*2021-04-27, version 3.1.11*

### 4/5 — very good application

*2021-02-12, version 3.1.7*

It is a very good aplication, when it is used in conjunction with roadie tunner device, It is accesible using voice over, only the back buton is not laveled.

I do not put 5 starts because wen you try to tune manually the feedback sound only ocurs when the string is in tune, and before you cannot know if string is lower or igher. ,

### 2/5 — Huge Problems with Roadie 1

*2020-12-15, version 3.1.2*

Software worked more or less well in the beginning. With the updates now it will not work with older Roadie 1. Be careful. First it wont work, then it suddenly starts und tries to overtune the strings ... one octave higher.... Dont update the software for a Roadie 1 .... there seems to be no way back and you wont be able to use your device ... very disappointing.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — New update killed the app

*2026-08-31*

The new update just sits at a loading screen for about 45 seconds before finally going into the app. Other times, you don’t even get past the loading screen. I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro, so it’s certainly not due to a slow phone.

### 1/5 — Roadie 1 not supported!

*2026-03-31*

They bricked my Roadie 1 tuner. It should be illegal to brick app dependent hardware. This comes treats their first customers like garbage, just throwing us away. I have no trust in them not doing the same to their current products, why buy their tuners when they can just brick them any time they want?

### 1/5 — Bad app for a great device

*2025-02-06*

I can’t believe the app is so bad. Worst part: when syncing with the Roadie Bass it duplicates the instruments in the device and it doesn’t send any profile created from the app. Thank goodness you don’t need the app to use the device or I would have returned it.

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear about your experience! It sounds like the sync between Roadie Bass and the app needs a reset, which is a simple fix. Just perform a factory reset of Roadie Bass through the app, and that should resolve the issue. If you need any help, reach out to support@roadiemusic.com, and we’ll get it sorted ASAP. Thanks for your patience!

### 1/5 — Where is the back button?

*2025-01-07, version 3.2.10*

Titis says it all. Lolol.

### 1/5 — No longer works on M1 Macs

*2024-06-01, version 3.2.9*

Every time you open the roadie app on an M1 Macbook it immediately crashes and produces a crash report. This makes it useless.

### 1/5 — Company has given up on us

*2024-02-25*

This company hasn’t updated the app in 2 years! And the tuner and app have considerable problems. For $130 you’d expect more.

It breaks strings all the time because it forks them too hard. The app and tuner don’t sync information properly. The app basically has to be closed to get back to its home screen because there is no back button visible.

Don’t buy this.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your honest review. We definitely haven’t forgotten about you. Indeed, we recently launched a firmware update that brings an improved screen design, and we’re actively refining the tuning algorithm for a major update soon. You’re right—our app was overdue for an enhancement, and I’m on it to address the back button and sync issues. To help us tackle these problems effectively, could you please contact us at support@roadiemusic.com with your phone model and further details? We’re eager to get this sorted.

### 1/5 — Roadie 3 can’t even tune an acoustic guitar

*2023-12-17, version 3.2.2*

£129 for something that can’t even tune a Taylor acoustic guitar. What an appalling waste of money

### 1/5 — Worst tuner on the market!!!!

*2023-10-08*

Besides the winding function, it’s completely unreliable. I’ve only ever gotten error codes and it stops on my high w string. Mine will never recognize my high standard e string in any gage or tuning. Never! Also, it is off on all other settings in both rapid and slow settings.

**Developer response:** Sorry that you feel this way about your Roadie Tuner. If you'd like to give it another chance, please reach out to us on support@bandindustries.com and someone from our team will make sure your Roadie is tuning as expected.

### 1/5 — Promised features never delivered

*2023-05-18*

Promised features were never delivered, and the app and hardware firmware hasn’t been updated in over a year. It seems like the company has abandoned this project after getting money through Kickstarter, leaving us holding the bag. Shame.

**Developer response:** We didn't abandon the project at all, and I am really sorry we made you feel this way. We will be releasing amazing new features very soon. It's true we did slow down a bit the amount of releases and updates, but we have plenty of exciting new releases lined up for Roadie 3 and the app. We will start pushing them in a few months. Any particular promised feature you were disappointed that it was not delivered? If you feel better communicating in private reach out to us on support@bandindustries.com

### 1/5 — Roadie Tuner is great, app sucks

*2021-12-14, version 3.2.1*

I wish the app worked as well as the tuner. 95% of the time the app freezes after about 15 seconds and I have to close it and try again. It’s pretty useless.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Myeloma baby

*2025-01-20, version 3.2.10*

Roadie 3. Awesomely Beautiful device a must have for anyone looking to improve their ears

### 5/5 — Great tool

*2021-11-22, version 3.2.1*

It kept crashing and stalling while synchronization. Fixed it by deleting the data stored in the app. Runs smoothly again.

### 5/5 — Excelente app

*2021-08-17, version 3.2.0*

### 5/5 — Top of the line piece of kit.

*2020-12-23*

Been using the Roadie 2 for a couple yrs now, had a small hiccup way back. Yet support was fantastic and had me tuning again fast. I have just received my Roadie 3, perfect timing day after my birthday. Getting to old lol yet made it before Xmas. As I supported the Kickstarter knowing it would be a great upgrade.
Not been let down either, looks great feels great and got one guitar up and tuned With new set of strings in a flash. Love the new design and display. I play at lot more songs in there correct tuning as it’s just so easy to do.
Most of us out there playing guitar seem to have 2 or more guitars, especially when going for the right tone and feel to certain songs. Using the Roadie just makes life that bit easier and faster. Especially when you can’t afford to have your own guitar tech lol.
Look forward to entering in all my guitars and there tunings.
Keep up the great work and support. I can highly recommend looking into purchasing one for your gig bag. Cheers

*2020-12-16, version 3.1.2*

### 5/5 — Fantastic Tuner and App

*2020-12-15, version 3.1.2*

As a blind musician, Roadie has made my life so much easier when tuning my instruments. I hadn't previously found any digital tuners which were accessible for blind people. Getting perfectly in tune quickly has become an absolute breeze.

### 5/5 — New Roadie3 Arrived!

*2020-12-13*

Charged up and tuned up both my acoustic and electrics in 2 minutes flat. Even my old banjo is happy. Going to be using the alternate tuning options like AC/DC’s old 430A songs - drove me nuts resetting my regular tuners and forgetting to reset them afterwards. App makes it much easier to fine tune the menu order, options and tuning settings before you hit the road.

### 5/5 — Roadie Bass

*2020-06-07, version 2.6.15*

Roadie really has been an amazing tool as I host open mic nights. Roadie Bass of course not only tunes all my acoustic 6 string guitars effortlessly, which include 2 Ovations, a Godin Multiac Steel, an Epiphone Lennon Casino and a Fender 12 string, it quickly tunes the House Acoustic when on the road, including an Ibanez Bass guitar and any others in my Studio at home. Always gets amazing reactions from other muso’s. 10/10

### 5/5 — Unbelievable!!!

*2020-04-24*

For all the years I have been playing and tuning myself, I have never sounded better. You sound like a pro in a studio. Your guitar is perfectly tuned. So quick and easy to use, can store multiple tunings, and a charge lasts a very long time. This is the most impactful device available to any guitarist, and every guitarist should have one!

### 5/5 — Great Device

*2020-04-08*

A fellow musician told me about the Roadie 2 so I put it on my Christmas wish list and Santa brought it to me. I couldn’t be happier.
