Stay away if you like not wasting your money. ### 1/5 — Absolutely useless *2025-01-17* I wish I could give zero stars. It’s a complete ripoff. I thought it was suspicious that they paywall you to test the features and I was right. I’ve had this app for two weeks and it’s going nowhere. It’s generated no tailored content no analytics. Only connects to meta products (unsuccessfully I might add) and it has to be business accounts. I’ve tried every feature. It’s just error codes and excuses. Chat gpt or whatever Isn’t even this impersonal. Also there’s no way to manually input your data if it can’t connect. Like literally let the artist input their preferences at least! No function on the website and app and after some search found an email address to send a request to which I did and it was completely ingonred ending up in me being charged another fiver few days after sending email. At that stage I'm consodering this app a proper scam. This could be an amazing resource, but as it is right now, it simply doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Needs work , need help canceling payments. *2024-12-17* I recently found this app through Instagram one day, and I pay the monthly payments. Unfortunately, it’s forcing me to finish “setting up my account” but crashes / timeouts at the end of finishing setting up. Therefore I can’t see my payment settings until it “finishes setup”. When you open up the app, I can’t even just go through the app and observe, I have a 15$ fee for monthly subscription and it doesn’t even tell what is the subscription for. This feels like a big scam app. ### 1/5 — Dishonest & Greedy *2024-11-10* I couldn’t get it to connect to Instagram via FB in browser despite many attempts Their support team told me they would offer a refund in the first line of their email so I said yes because my wife is having a major surgery in a few days and I don’t have the time to follow the long guide (which simply details what I had already done multiple times to set up) or set up a Zoom call with them, as I suggested.) When I asked for the already promised refund, they denied it In any case, to the meat and potatoes of the tool - if you already have ChatGPT in some form I cannot see anything different than really training your own GPT and telling it facts about your goals as a music artist and details about your different social accounts The tool is extremely immature Don’t fall for the ads which trick you into paying them any money Do the trial first and see for yourself **Developer response:** We believe you were refunded all payment this despite your own admission you were also given guides and had the option of a support video call which you did not take us on, correct? Help. I’ve spent an entire work day trying to get all the accounts linked up from Instagram to Facebook THEN get all the permissions granted and this is where I am just in awe of the utter ridiculousness of the situation. Technology is supposed to make things easier, not have the user spend hours going back and forth between Google and chat GPT trying to find out where facebook/meta/instagram have buried the millions of options in their latest idiotic layout update. The fact that someone will probably need to give me a 10 step process for this one aspect of setting this app up is a testament to how disjointed and inefficient this all is. We want to empower indie creators to fully own their data and are constantly looking at ways to make the Roadie set-up process easier and clearer since we believe artists should have an easy way of getting, viewing and analyzing their own data. ### 1/5 — Very poor indeed - terrible *2024-10-17, version 1.2.3* The ai content creation is very poor indeed - your much better off using ChatGPT or similar. After waiting for over one week it never connected with my socials. All of the features are very poor indeed and almost worthless. I was soon after contacted by staff, was charged again (a glitch), asked to take down this review and then they would refund. I said I’d take it down/amend once they fully refunded, which they did, and Omer/CEO (supposedly) wrote thoughtful (could have been AI tho who are we kidding?) email apologizing. So I’m updating this review that the company does seem to eventually refund for a faulty product, after sending 20 or so emails and then writing an honest and frustrated review here. Prior review: This company Indieflow and it’s app Roadie are committing fraud. They charge users for an app that does not work due to glitches and buggy performance of the tech. The interface is very intuitive and fun! The AI assistant feels like having a personal coach—super easy to chat with and full of great ideas. It helps me brainstorm hashtags and gives me clear roadmaps for my social media strategy, which has made a real difference in my online presence. The Similar Artists feature is cool, too! It’s awesome to see who’s out there in my genre, but I do wish it had more filtering options to explore their strategies. Overall, I’m really enjoying the app and can’t wait to see how it develops! ### 5/5 — Great Developers Who Care About Artists *2025-03-04, version 1.2.12* This is a solid app that has clearly been developed to make the lives of artists easier. You can see your Spotify and social media analytics, talk to a chatbot about industry related questions, read playbooks on generating content, discover similar artists, etc, there are so many features that show that this app has had so much thought put into it by the developers (who are REAL PEOPLE by the way!!). I came just to write a good review because I thought this was a needed app in a world with similar “artist development” companies to charge THOUSANDS of dollars for this kind of thing. Let me repeat for the entitled people in the back. There are tons of SUCCESSFUL “artist development,” “record label,” or “management” companies that charge THOUSANDS of dollars in flat fees on top of percentages of the money you make for services like this. IndieFlow has been honest about how it’s in its early stages of development, of course there will be issues here and there, but I haven’t experienced any myself; in what world does this app deserve a one star review? It’s a great app! Developers are people too! Most apps are created by small companies, less than 20 people, usually less than 10, often one or two people. I say this as a fellow musician and software engineer, I don’t know the size of the team behind this app or anything; I was just so surprised to see some of the past reviews being so rude and leaving reviews just to get responses. That’s what support emails are for! Anyway, I’m excited to see where this app goes!! Generally impressed with the product so far - cool ideas and insights for the average bedroom producer to get organized, inspired, and taking actionable steps. Seems to be focused on the DIY-artist, which is rad! It really helps if you already have music out on streaming and have some experience posting since it’s built to crunch all your data to give you better advice. But I imagine this would work great for those just starting out too! Will update my review as I use it more. ### 3/5 — Latest update crashes *2025-02-10, version 1.2.10* Since the last update (Feb 2025) the app won’t launch and now can’t get it to do anything even on another device? Please help ASAP. ### 2/5 — So much potential *2024-10-25* As other reviews have mentioned, this is an app with so much potential, but at the moment falls short. It is basically chat GPT with access to your social/ streaming stats. My streaming stats never loaded into the app after 2 weeks sadly, but my social stats did. It was nice to see what my top posts were, but it gives very little detail and id like to see more than the top 3. It also doesn’t seems to refresh the stats often, so I’d like a manual “refresh” button that pulls the latest numbers. The content generator is somewhat useful, more so for hashtags that are trending. I had one really engaging post about playing bongos at a renaissance fair, and the AI wanted to make all my posts and entire music personality about how great jamming at ren fairs is. The AI captions besides the hashtags are very non human sounding and I don’t like them. The similar artists page is also pretty useless, showed only 3 posts with very little context and genuinely meant nothing to me. In closing, I’d love to see this app get cooked for another 6 months with more reliability, and a few better features before I would drop money on it, or consider it my “digital manager”. **Developer response:** Thank you for your detailed review and for sharing your experience with Roadie!
