The app does not allow pre booking. and no longer allows for ASAP pickup. All it ever says is vendor unavailable or cannot accept bookings at this time. When taxis can be booked they are always running very late. I would recommend looking for a different company ### 1/5 — Don’t like the new look app *2021-08-14, version 33.2.7* I really don’t like the new look app. It isn’t as user friendly as the previous version. It’s also cheaper looking. Please bring back the old version. ### 2/5 — Its okay but buggy *2021-06-09, version 33.2.4* Its a shame you can’t prebook your taxi which is what I thought I had used the app for until I got a call telling me my taxi was outside but it wasn’t booked until the evening. It just needs some fixing and it could be a good app! ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work how it should *2021-04-05, version 33.2.4* Booked a taxi for 9:00pm and it showed up at my door at 8:00pm when I wasn’t ready to leave. The driver then said I had to pay a “waiting fee” which I obviously refused to pay. Drivers rarely come for the time specified in the booking ### 1/5 — Unable to sign in *2019-11-04, version 32.1.6* I used this app with no issues for a while but since upgrading my phone, I’m unable to sign in. It asks for your phone number to send a verification code. I never get the code and then it locks me out. Really frustrating Update, over a month after ‘app support’ said they would look into this and get back to me, absolutely nothing. Still unable to log in or register. Useless and app support is non existent. ### 1/5 — Late again, 4th time in a row. Moving to a different company now! *2019-10-21, version 32.1.6* I’ve used this company for a few years. However something has gone wrong there. For the 4th time they have arrived more than 10 minutes later. It’s 12 minutes today, at 4.25 am!! So no excuse, there’s no traffic whatsoever. Last time I will use you! ### 1/5 — Next to useless *2019-08-23, version 32.1.5* Worked ok till I had to put my card details in. Once I had done that I was told the ap was sending the driver to Nutfield even though my map was showing him head for me. Book by phone from the office this ap isn’t worth the free download. ### 1/5 — No control *2019-08-06, version 32.1.5* Never on time & always agree times they can’t honour. Cost changes from agreed via the app & ive been told by drivers when I’ve got in the taxi. It’s then to late to not accept. Unless you have time to waste on finding a new taxi. ### 1/5 — Shockingly bad *2019-07-20, version 32.1.5* The app is dreadful, most the time it displays wrong location, signs you out and then its impossible to try and get your password back, the company is just as bad, took money out of my account only £2 but its not the point they dont even have a fare for £2. Needs to go back to the drawing board it’s quicker to phone booking ### 2/5 — Fine for ‘ here and now’ *2019-06-22, version 32.1.1* I only seem to be able to book from my current location at this precise time. No future bookings possible. Surely being able to say that you’d ‘like a taxi for XX time at XX location for X people’ should theoretically be the first thing to be done in app development. Also, the address search doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Changing prices *2019-06-11, version 32.1.1* Was bad enough that the old version of the app led to my card being charged twice and nothing being done about it now I can’t even add my card as a payment option! Booked a taxi for a fee of £4.10, the booking then cancelled on me so I went into road runners to ask what happened and they said my taxi was outside. Got outside my house and the Driver than said I had to pay £5.60, obviously I disagreed and had to call the base for them to just read out previous bookings of random dates that I had been charged £5.60 for even though I have been charged £4.10 for the exact route before. Worried this will become a constant issue so I doubt I will be using this app or even road runners again! ### 1/5 — Failed update *2019-06-11, version 32.1.1* The app is not working since the most recent update. Unable to sign in or re-register details. Disappointing as this app has been working well prior to the recent update. The location picker doesn’t work half the time when booking a ride which makes it very difficult to book, especially if you’re not already at the pickup location (it seems to assume you are). It often just hangs after I book a ride and I end up having to close the app, re open it and request again. I often have to do this multiple times before it actually works. Overall I’ve had a terrible experience and I encourage Roadrunners to seriously rethink this app. ### 1/5 — East Surrey *2025-05-03, version 35.1.9* Speeding through small villages. I booked a taxi the night before for 7:40am the next morning because I had a party for my son at 8am. The taxi driver arrived at 8am and took the longest route possible and took 35 minutes when it’s a 15 minute drive. This isn’t the first time either. Communication is terrible too. Texts saying cab arrived after you’ve already finished your journey. I waited for 10min before I called and no one answered my call. After 45min I finally got an uber (I live in a place a bit far from city center) ### 1/5 — Unsafe app - beware of fraud *2022-01-25, version 33.4.22* On creating an account and putting in my credit card details, someone tried to use my credit card to make a purchase. Luckily my credit card company caught it immediately. ### 1/5 — Cancelled taxi 5 times and charged my card ! *2021-11-01, version 33.4.22* Stay clear of giving them your card details they cancelled on me 5 times and then charged my card and never answer the phone sort it out.
