Back to wheels *2022-05-21, version 2.18.0* I decided to try this app because paying by card with wheels is slow and requires waiting on the phone for multiple minutes. I booked taxis twice on this app from a very well known big tescos. The prices are insane compared to other taxis. 6.30 compared to 4.00. Both times I watched the taxi on the map move far away from my dot, call me while they’re nowhere near me on the map. And one of them scolded me and was rude saying it was my fault when i had booked the correct location and my map proved it! I tipped £1 for the trouble and moved on. Going back to wheels. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2021-11-28, version 2.16.0* Every single time using this has been a bad experience. They’re either taking ages and customer service tells me they won’t be long, drivers are dumb or taxis don’t show up. Can’t see drivers numbers or track them either so I find the app completely pointless. Going back to Uber I think at least I can see what’s actually going on and avoid disappointment ### 1/5 — Shocking Service *2021-11-20, version 2.16.0* I would bother using the app, never finds a taxi even if you book well in advance! Despite ringing and being told a taxi is coming still no show 20 minutes later! Make a booking and it doesn’t turn up , ring them and they lie about when it’s due. Gave price for fare which I accepted but then took 20% more from bank. Meter at end of journey was same as original quote. Digging further into the app suggests the extra money taken is only a holding amount and will be adjusted later.
