Rang Toyota and they said not to bother using the app because they get a lot of calls saying it doesn’t work. Why do they have an app I wonder? ### 1/5 — Beware - Australia only! *2023-01-24* Tried it as a US user and finally realized it’s only intended for the Australian market, even though it doesn’t say that anywhere immediately visible. Label your stuff, Toyota! ### 1/5 — Useless *2022-12-13, version 1.3.3* Not only does the app NOT load past the first screen, it doesn’t completely load that screen to begin with. Can’t scroll down to even read the initial welcome page. The app was mentioned several times and promoted when purchasing yet does nothing. It does not give me “road side peace of mind” , in fact it does the opposite . I now have no peace of mind that Toyota will be able to help. A functioning user interface should be an absolute priority for any business or company these days and the inability for a company as large as Toyota to get such an app to at least be usable actually erodes confidence in the company. ### 1/5 — Joke *2022-10-19* Joke app. Take it down. Plus Apple charged me $1 for it. 😡 ### 1/5 — No way to register or exit *2022-09-28, version 1.3.3* The app asks you to register, by searching for your mobile number and car registration. When you click “search”, you get the message: “Sorry, we could not locate any existing details. Please check them and try again or contact our support team.” There’s no link to contact support. No phone number. And no exit button or way to quit. I had to turn off my phone.
