But often it’s on the opening screen where it’s waiting for you to get on an interstate, even when I’ve been on the interstate for hours. Also I tried to register and it says it doesn’t recognize my email, so I tried to register again, and it says that email is already in use. ### 1/5 — Wants account then subscribe *2016-05-11, version 2.1.4* Road Ninja disappeared so I was looking for a replacement. I saw this and it makes you create an account right away and THEN it tells you it is a trial, with a purchase price AFTER you sign up. I don't want to have a trial subscription that runs out before my next road trip. ### 1/5 — Can't get passed the sign up screen *2016-05-08, version 2.1.4* After putting in all my information to sign up when I click continue it says to check the captcha checkbox to confirm I am a real human. But there is no captcha checkbox. So I can't even get past the sign up screen. Guess I'm not human 😕 ### 1/5 — Terrible since upgrade *2016-04-15* This app worked for the last 2 years. When they upgraded the app you can no longer log on!! I am extremely disappointed by the lack of communication from this company. I either want my money back or for someone to acknowledge my repeated attempts at communication with this company!! I supposedly renewed in Dec, but am still not able to access anything. ### 1/5 — Problems with app *2016-04-04, version 2.1.2* Let me start with the note that I have used this app since it came out. It has been invaluable in our travels. It is time for me to renew and I am very sad that I can't do it. The app crashes every time I try to open it on my IPad Air 2 and I cannot log in on my iPad mini. I have tried to contact the developers and found out that you can't because their contact form on their website requires a code they don't provide. I would have to rate this app as 0 stars if I had the option. I paid for my years subscription back in February and it has been unusable since. Below is my review from years ago. Now, not so much. Since the update, the app is unusable. Support used to be very responsive. Now, no emails are getting responses. I paid my annual fee in February for NOTHING. Used the book for a while but now have been using the app for years, first on my iPod Touch now on my iPhone. When you're pulling a large horse trailer all over half of the country and also need diesel fuel, this app is a godsend. I have no complaints and the one time I needed support, I got great help via email. ### 1/5 — Poor *2016-03-04, version 2.1.1* Just downloaded this for my raid trip. I idly tapped the app and was prompted to create a free account. It did NOT remind me that I would be starting a 14 day trial. If it had I would have waited. As it is I could have saved the bandwidth needed to download this app and the immediate 27 MB update required to use it since it'll time out before I can use it. All that aside, the app is laggy and freezes on an iPad mini 3 with 128mb of ram. It's pretty frustrating to use and not worth the money. ### 1/5 — Ms *2015-12-23, version 2.1.1* Worthless. The Next Exit, publishers of physical copies of exit guides, nailed it with the app that has the up to date businesses! Exits and rest areas are also well detailed and helpful to the drivers and truckers alike. User interface is clean. The app works well only while on the US interstates. One minor nitpick is that you can’t view more than three exits ahead. Three is good enough for one screen held vertically on the phone.
