It used to be so easy. I can share it from the routes master list, but not when I’m in the route. The option is there, it just doesn’t do anything. And when I DO share it from the master list, it doesn’t include the times for each stop anymore. The app was perfect before this new update. The functionality of it was perfect, now everything I do takes twice as long. Please go back to the old layout. ### 1/5 — 7/22/26 Last couple updates ruined the app entirely *2026-07-22, version 2026.06.151* Urgent: Today (7/22/26) we got a massive overhaul of the app. It’s not good. Matter of fact, the app is now technically barely functioning. But before I comment on this new version I need to say that the changes to the previous version also made the app less useable. Prior to this major update they snuck in another update that broke the best feature of the app: having your map loaded into system RAM. Why is that important? Because no matter where you are your internet connection wasn’t reliant on the map loading. They snuck that update in and because I operate in an area with little to no cell service I have to keep driving out of my way to pick up an internet connection to even get past the first loading screen. That was totally ridiculous. Today, we wake up to an overhaul. I’m sure there are some improvements but the core features you need for this app now all load extremely slow. First off, it defaults your navigation to walking, not driving. Minor detail but no other previous version had this easy to catch mistake. In addition, it also now completely eats your battery and overheats your phone. I have had my phone refuse to charge due to overheating. My phone is in front of the AC on full blast. I have never experienced this. Even when the phone isn’t overheating due to Road Warrior, it won’t charge because it’s eating more battery than can be charged into it. This is a full-on disaster. When you type an address in and switch from the address number to the street name, it minimizes the keyboard and then realoads it again. So let’s say you’re typing in “100 main st”. You type “100” and then when you switch back to ABC, rather than just switch like every keyboard on earth, it minimizes/closes, then reopens. Now you’re 2-3 letters into the road name. And the absolutely experience-destroying feature of forcing the app to have an internet connection to load the map YOU just CREATED, is longer than ever. Added dumb features are : 5 second response time to mark a stop as completed. Previously it was milliseconds. And after clicking the “optimize” button a pop-up says “do you want to optimize?” Come on. This is ridiculous. And I’m sure I’ll find more throughout the day. (Edit: you can not even mark a stop complete without a full internet connection). It keeps logging me out in between stops as well. This version feels worse than a beta 0.0.1 test release. This was a very polished, excellent app at one point. Now it’s garbage. I want the version from 2025. I’m not paying for this anymore. I’ll gladly pay for the 2025 version for the rest of my life. But not this. This is worse than the app I created myself. Would not recommend in current state. ### 3/5 — Fixed something that was broken *2026-07-16, version 2026.06.151* Road warrior always had 5 stars from me but after this update I don’t know what ya were thinking with this redesign it’s not convenient and harder for someone who doesn’t understand technology to jump into .. Ex - when you have multiple stops it no longer spits them into a list where you can check them off or move to another route if you’re not paying attention you can miss a delivery because you now have to be on top of the separate stop s and zoom into the map .. also to see the names of directions of streets also have to zoom all the way into the map .. if I want to reorganize my stops and keep the way road warrior optimized the route I now have to calculate the route when before I can just love them around at MY convenience , stop bubbles are so big but the driver icon hardly can find it I do like map integration on the app something’s look a little cleaner but you guys went for a modern interface instead of thinking what would be most continent for the driver you guys were always 10/10 to me but with this update I would have to give it a 6/10 because optimization still works numbers on houses are clear and etc but it is now kind of annoying to use why is the map so minimal why remove key features that users that’s been on the app for 5 years + have gotten used to MOST importantly why not roll out and classic and modern version and not force us to use this if we don’t like it I also never leave a review ### 1/5 — Broken “Re-Design” *2026-07-16, version 2026.06.151* This app was almost perfect before 06/10/2026 the re-design. Now - the app fails to optimize based on the current time (bug), the routing upon optimization completely ignores any and all schedules or time windows that the user has set to either an individual stop or saved favorites with schedules. I have had MANY emails back and forth with support and they say a fix is coming… it is now over a month later and the same issues persist. Myself and the rest of my local DHL drivers are now looking into other options as it seems the best routing app is now DOA. My last email to them was 6/25/26 and never received a response. If your route requires you to be at places before or after certain times… use something else. ### 4/5 — Needs more stops *2026-07-15, version 2026.06.151* I enjoy the app easy to use, makes your day definitely easier. my only problem is that you only get 120 stops for 20$ a month and there’s other apps like MyWay and PlaceMaker which both have 200+ stops for half the price. When navigating to a stop the wrong address appears in Google Maps even though the address is the app is correct which wasn’t an issue prior to the update except maybe in a few rare occasions but happens all the time now. Thankful that they recognized the issues and reverted to the original version now ### 1/5 — Worse *2026-07-24, version 2026.07.301* ★☆☆☆☆ I have been a loyal RoadWarrior user for a long time, and the previous version was excellent. Unfortunately, the new update has made the app much worse. It is less user-friendly, slower, and many of the features I relied on are no longer as convenient. Because of these changes, I decided to cancel my subscription. I'm not the only one—five of my friends have also unsubscribed because they feel the same way. I hope the developers listen to user feedback and bring back the simplicity and reliability of the previous version. It used to be fast, reliable, and efficient. Unfortunately, the latest update has made the app significantly worse. Everything feels slow. Opening a stop’s information now takes about 2 seconds after every tap, which may not sound like much, but when you’re making hundreds of deliveries a day, those delays add up and become incredibly frustrating. Even typing is laggy, and the entire app feels sluggish. For delivery drivers, speed and efficiency are critical. When you’re in a hurry, you need the app to respond instantly—not make you wait after every tap. The new update has taken away what made RoadWarrior so great. I genuinely hope the developers listen to their long-time users and optimize the app’s performance. I’ve loved this app for years, but in its current state, the update has made it much less useful than it used to be.
