It has many bugs, including showing my battery has half the capacity it actually has. It never refreshes after you go away from the app and come back - you have to close the app and open it again for it to work. It doesn’t show any historical data so you can see how much you used and how much charge was put in on any given time period. ### 1/5 — Useless *2023-06-24, version 1.1.5* Why make such a great battery and then have such a useless app? A very useful function is the ability to turn off the batteries ability to charge or discharge. However this function simply does not work. After about 20 or so attempts to turn off discharging I end up giving up as it either does not respond or more annoyingly it turns off them immediately turns back on again. The quality of the batteries and service I feel is second to none. However, this app tarnishes that image as it’s very poor. I understand that it’s a good idea to limit the end user being able to change settings on the battery, but the information it offers is also very limited and worst of all has to be restarted every time you want to view an updated battery level. I feel a smart company like Roamer could do something much smarter with this…a killer feature would be to add CarPlay functionality so that I could monitor alternator charge whilst on the move. ## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Well designed and easy to use *2023-08-14, version 1.1.5* A great battery and a really nicely designed BMS app that gives all the key battery info on the main page in a simple and easy to read format. So much nicer than some battery apps I’ve used, it’s clearly been put together by an actual UX designer rather than just applying a logo and colour scheme to a white label Chinese app. The details page offers extra insights and cell voltages and the protect state page gives status codes which are not immediately obvious but are well explained in the manual. State of charge tracks accurately for me and no obvious bugs. I have to close and reopen the app when switching phones but that’s not an issue.
