Start accepting payments on the go! ROAMpay X5 goes beyond enabling mobile payment acceptance, transforming your phone or tablet into a true mobile point of sale device. ROAMpay X5 is complete with all the tools you need to manage your business, including a product catalog and customized receipts. Reduce liability and qualify for lower transaction rates when used with any of Ingenico's E2E-encrypted secure mobile card readers. Accept in-store EMV transactions using our newest card readers, the Moby/8500 (PIN-enabled) and the Moby/5500. Legacy card readers including the Moby/3000, RP350x, RP457, RP450BT, RP757, and G4x/G5x are also supported. GETTING STARTED The application currently does not support signing up in-app. Please contact your merchant service provider or the Worldline help desk at https://worldline.com/en-us/home/main-navigation/git for your credentials or to partner with us. This application is free but requires that you have a merchant account. A demo account is available to view the different features of the application but cannot process transactions. To access this functionality, enter ‘demo’ as the username with any text as the password. Avoid this app at all cost. ### 1/5 — I just dislike this app *2021-08-20, version 5.7.2* I use this application because the company that I work for uses it. I would not use this application for my own business. Every time I have to process a payment I have to go to settings and adjust them. The application doesn’t save your settings. It’s a hassle and a waste of time to do that every time you have to process a payment. Not a very good application. ### 4/5 — I like the fact they got Bluetooth reader that can accept nfc too. *2019-01-23, version 5.3.2* For iPhone user, recommend blue tooth reader. When you first pair you need connector but afterwards your good to go. App wise, good to be use but.. We have to log in every time we check someone out which takes too much extra time. ### 1/5 — Charge *2018-04-09, version 5.1.4* Edible company , I don’t recommend to anyone , The beginning nice , but after while they broke the law and charge you as much as they can , I charged one of my client $2,791 , After three weeks they didn’t deposit to my account I gave them my clients phone number , address, and also I sent electronic invoice to this company ,but they never respond , they hold the amount, They don’t want to deposit to my account and also they don’t want to refund to my client account. They said we will do refund in 10 business , but it’s almost one month they didn’t respond , And today they charged me $97 for no reason, They recognize my phone number and they don’t wanna pick up the phone. .... It's extremely awkward handing the phone over to the client to give me a tip then swipe the card then have them sign. So I've opted to just skip the tip section and missing out on my tips from clients because I'd rather not feel awkward. It is extremely awkward and has definitely cost me money. Not cool, Roam Pay. Not cool. This app is historically late to update and can't ever seem to find it's footing.
