When you first pair you need connector but afterwards your good to go. App wise, good to be use but.. I’m pretty sure they can do better. ### 2/5 — Logs out too often *2018-08-17, version 5.2.2* Please make an option in settings to adjust automatic log out time. It is extremely awkward and has definitely cost me money. Not cool, Roam Pay. Not cool. This app is historically late to update and can't ever seem to find it's footing. Love the service, absolutely HATE the app. ### 2/5 — Crashed 3 times with one client *2017-01-12, version 5.0* Even though it crashes in the middle of the transaction 3 charges were submitted. I tried 2 transactions on my iPhone 6 and it crashed both times. I switched to my iPad it crashed again. The last time it said transaction complete when the others did not. My client was charged 3 times. I had to submit two refunds. Update 01/12/2017 for new updated app: It would be nice if the tip screen was on the signature screen. I don't want to have to ask for a tip. Some people still use cash. If you hand your device over for a signature, they can discreetly decide for themselves what to tip - or not. I will update to 3 stars, because I do like the catalog option that replaced the previous screen to type in something on the memo box. I have checked the entire app on my iPhone and iPad and there does not seem to be an intuitive way to modify my inventory easily. They withdraw from your account even after you try to cancel and will not refund it! Customer service is indifferent to any issues you have. Will be filing complaint with Federal Trade Commission and BBB. What's worse is when I fired the company they continued to charge me on a Technicality. There form they emailed me to Terminate service fax number wasn't even a working number. $210 later I found this out. No refund was given & there so called customer service is never around when you need them. There up-date that you have to down load would give your software problem & wouldn't charge people cards afterwards. This happen to many times to me. I would not use this application for my own business. Every time I have to process a payment I have to go to settings and adjust them. The application doesn’t save your settings. It’s a hassle and a waste of time to do that every time you have to process a payment. Not a very good application. ### 1/5 — Charge *2018-04-09, version 5.1.4* Edible company , I don’t recommend to anyone , The beginning nice , but after while they broke the law and charge you as much as they can , I charged one of my client $2,791 , After three weeks they didn’t deposit to my account I gave them my clients phone number , address, and also I sent electronic invoice to this company ,but they never respond , they hold the amount, They don’t want to deposit to my account and also they don’t want to refund to my client account. They said we will do refund in 10 business , but it’s almost one month they didn’t respond , And today they charged me $97 for no reason, They recognize my phone number and they don’t wanna pick up the phone. .... It's extremely awkward handing the phone over to the client to give me a tip then swipe the card then have them sign. So I've opted to just skip the tip section and missing out on my tips from clients because I'd rather not feel awkward. Awkward "how much do you want to TIP me" now let me slide you card and ask for signature. I feel some people like there tipping to be more private. I can let them do the whole process...that may work. Love how you can keep inventory on the app. Also love the receipt that it sends to my customer. Shows each item purchased, logo, location of where the purchase took place, link to FB/ twitter/URL. Very cool! Also I have had no issues with the swiper no hand punching in cc numbers so my cost is less. Not to mention, I can build a data base using the email addresses. I like how I can add items to inventory on the fly with picture. It has a scanner built in for scanning items from inventory. Unless you have a lot of items,it is easier to pick from the list The receipts now include item pictures and a map of where I made the transaction. This makes it easier if someone disputes the charge. ### 5/5 — Much better performance and work flow! *2012-05-13* This app is major step up from standard ROAMpay. It looks and flows much better and includes new features like Tip, tax and sig capture. I love it!
