Extremely disappointing support experience. I waited around 30 minutes just to speak with someone, only to receive what felt like automated, copy-and-paste responses that never addressed my actual issue.

My problem was simple: I successfully completed identity verification, but the app kept sending me back to a screen asking for my SIN and wouldn’t let me proceed. I explained this multiple times, but support never investigated the issue or offered any troubleshooting beyond generic responses.

After repeating the same scripted messages, they simply ended the chat without resolving anything or giving me the opportunity to respond further.

Looking online, many other users appear to be experiencing the same verification problem, so this doesn’t seem like an isolated issue.

I was forced to use Robinhood because of the Bitbuy migration, and now I’m stuck paying additional crypto transfer fees to move my assets to another exchange because I can’t even access the service.

I expected much better customer support and a functional verification process, especially when dealing with people’s finances. Unfortunately, this experience has completely destroyed my confidence in the platform.

Can’t create an account as it just goes so far as the verification, then goes to my homepage!  I was happy with Bitbuy.   But it says I have to move to Robinhood by the 22nd of August.  But it’s not happening.

Kyc never completed and tapping to check the status returns error. Contact support is an AI that doesn't even work and just keeps looping. I can't even deactivate my account because it tells me to contact support. Such trash

Ich komme schon die ganze Woche nicht in mein Konto nein, habe schon haufenweise Kontakt mit dem Support versucht aufzunehmen jedoch bekomme ich es richtig irrsinnige Hinweise, die wachsende sind wie beispielsweise, dass das Handy angeschaltet sein sollte. Das ergibt überhaupt keinen Sinn. Jedenfalls gibt es überhaupt kein Support egal, in welcher Art und Weise man kann niemanden kontaktieren. Für mich ist das einfach nur beschämend.

AtAll! It’s good to have Robinhood here in canada and customer service was good! Unfortunately they don’t have stocks trade for time being, promised they have soon. I was reading other reviews SCAM etc , I have no idea advice anyone knows more. I hope it’s legit. Cheers !

Well, despite the claim is that it works in Canada, that isn’t true. It definitely does not. Trying to get in touch with customer support also doesn’t work unless you have an account.

Je crois que c’est l’appli la plus lente que j’ai jamais utiliser; il faut cliquer 3 fois pour faire un ordre, oublier le daily dessus. Hyper compliquer et pas logique niveau menu, enfin bref bien pour du DCA ou Swing mais pas bien pour trader

Had to start using robinhood because it acquired bitbuy. Transfers used to be instant. Now with robinhood they take hours.

Slowest transactions. I was with Coin square before they were purchased. I was able to trade, deposit and send funds instantly. Robinhood has the slowest processing for transactions on it of any app I’ve used. Every transaction I get stuck in the “processing”stage.  Would not recommend

I know everyone in the USA uses Robinhood when it comes to trading stocks and crypto. It’s exciting to see it come to Canada but why only crypto? I wanna see options trading just like the USA has not just crypto. Wealthsimple is the worst for options trading because of the conversion fees and cannot trade in USD without a USA account. Bring Options to Robinhood.

J’ai un compte depuis décembre 2023 lorsqu’ils avaient fait une entrée éclair sur le marché, avant de se retirer pour des raisons légales et juridiques. J’étais agréablement surpris de voir que les comptes qui avaient été ouverts n’ont pas été clôturés avant leur retour officiel et légal depuis cet été.

L’application est vraiment belle, ergonomique, intuitive. Par contre ce que je regrette le plus c’est qu’il n’est pas (encore) possible de modifier la devise, tous les cours s’affichent uniquement en € et on ne peut pas le modifier, dommage, car beaucoup de traders sont habitués à lire les cours en USD. Il ne s’agit pas de retirer ses gains en USD mais de pouvoir voir les prix des actifs en $, nous apprécierions vraiment cette possibilité dans les paramètres.

Autre point manquant, le trading de futures/Perpetuals qui est toujours absent sur Robinhood Europe. Mais j’ai cru lire que ça allait changer prochainement (notamment grâce au rachat de Bitstamp par Robinhood) en proposant au marché français et UE le trading sur les produits dérivés avec effet de levier modéré. Mais pour l’instant, l’appli se limite au marché Spot, parfait pour HODL mais vraiment il manque le trading perp, et autres actions tokenisées.

Et à part ça, bah elle est franchement belle (ah oui je l’ai déjà dis ça, mais j’insiste). Vous pouvez bien sûr gagner plein de récompenses de staking Solana, ETH et ils proposent des offres avantageuses pour optimiser nos gains, comme pour le staking où ils doublent nos récompenses par exemple.

Question frais c’est vraiment correct, et toujours gratuit pour BTC (sell/buy).

Juste une dernière chose, quand on parraine quelque ils nous offrent 100€ en 5 crypto différentes dont de l’UDSC…euhhh, le bémol c’est que l’on doit conserver cette récompense au moins 180 jours dans le wallet avant de pouvoir vendre, alors aucun problème avec ça mais je ne comprends pas pourquoi de l’USDC 🤷 on a 20€ d’USDC qui ne fructifie pas, qui reste là dans le wallet et qui ne servent à rien, ça aurait été cool de pouvoir vendre les 20€ USDC de reward et de racheter un autre actif à la place!

A part ça je vous recommande vivement l’app.
