## What is Robin's Meal Planner?

Sound familiar? It's 5pm, everyone's hungry, and you're staring at the fridge with no idea what to make. Again.

Robin's Meal Planner was built for exactly this moment.

Robin Glance is a Montreal-based registered dietitian with over 20 years of experience — and she built this app to take the daily stress out of feeding your family. Her approach is simple: a little planning now means no scrambling later - just meals on the table.

BUILD YOUR COOKBOOK
Start by saving the meals your family already loves. Browse Robin's hand-picked collection of real recipes — photographed just as they come out of the kitchen, no food styling, no filters. Favourite the ones that catch your eye, then add them to your personal cookbook. Or import any recipe from the web with a single tap.

PLAN YOUR WEEK
Once your cookbook is stocked, planning the week takes minutes. Pick meals for each day from dishes you know your family will actually eat — no second-guessing, no starting from scratch every Sunday.

SHOP SMART
Robin's Meal Planner automatically builds your shopping list from your meal plan. One less thing to think about.

NO NUMBERS. NO RULES. NO GUILT.
You won't find calorie counts here — and that's intentional. Robin doesn't believe in tracking, restriction, or chasing perfection. This is meal planning rooted in gentle nutrition: realistic, flexible, and built around your actual life.

Whether you're trying to bring more structure to your week or simply stop asking "what's for dinner?" — Robin's Meal Planner is the calm, practical companion your family needs.

*Beta features are still being refined and may sometimes behave unpredictably

### 1.2 — 2026-05-19

- New: Meal / Tip of the Week — Every week, a fresh featured card now takes over the top of Discover, spotlighting one of Robin’s recipes or a hand-picked meal planning tip. Missed a week? Swipe back through previous features in the new carousel. Plus, a notification dot on the Discover tab lets you know the moment new content drops.
- Tips just got more interactive — Robin’s tips can now include quick video. Look for the green Watch badge (or the play icon on featured and past tip cards), then tap to watch directly from the tip detail view.
- Smarter shopping, powered by upgraded ingredient recognition — Shopping lists are now automatically sorted into 7 intuitive aisles for faster shopping, with new Bakery and Frozen categories added alongside Produce, Proteins, Dairy & Eggs, Pantry, and Other. Behind the scenes, ingredient recognition has also been massively expanded — the app now correctly identifies and categorises 1,395 of the most common recipe ingredients automatically for a smarter, more accurate shopping experience.

### 1.1 — 2026-05-12

You can now filter Robin's recipes by your favourites — in Discover, in the Add to Cookbook picker, and in the Add to Plan picker
Favourited recipes show a small heart badge on their thumbnail in all recipe pickers
Meal category pills (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner / Snacks) now display in their own colours throughout the app
Deleting a recipe now correctly removes it from your cookbook and all meal plan slots, with a clear warning before you confirm
Removing a Robin's recipe from your cookbook now works via a "Remove from Cookbook" button on the recipe detail page
Quick-add meals in the meal plan that aren't yet in your cookbook now show a "+ to cookbook" button, opening the category picker to add them directly
Sub-categories in the cookbook can no longer be deleted while they still contain meals — you'll be prompted to remove the meals first
