Now iPhones basically automatically screen your calls. The price was 5.99. Now it’s jumping to 10.99. That’s just greed. It also gives you a lovely recording of the spam callers talking to your robot. Unfortunately, many spam bot centers now use AI bots that look for specific responses fo avoid wasting time (“can you answer yes or no?”), which RoboKiller’s recordings can’t effectively counter. Still, I appreciate not having my phone ring throughout the day, and I HUGELY appreciate them getting my information off the databases these spam callers use. That alone has decreased the number of spam bots I get. If it were cheaper, 5*. Because they charge $100+/yr, 3* until they can figure out a RoboAIKiller to get the AI bots to transfer to a human. ### 1/5 — Bruh *2026-08-18, version 24.7.55* It ain’t blocking the calls that I’m getting ### 2/5 — Stopped working *2026-08-17, version 24.7.55* I got the app about a week and a half ago, it worked really well at first. However today the call forwarding and screen call feature completely stopped working. I noticed when I woke up this morning and had a couple spam calls that weren’t logged in the app. The calls also rang through my cellular network. I troubleshot for about 2 hours and contacted support. I first got a subscription in early 2019 for $3.99 a month, which felt like a bargain!! In 2024, they increased the price to $5.99, which also felt like a fairly reasonable price, but the service seemed to be going downhill. I just found they want to go from $6/month to $12/month. This is outrageous and absurd. Their service has gotten so bad and now they want double for that poor service. I immediately canceled. The different between using Robokiller and not now is about maybe one or two calls blocked. Since about when they did my first price hike in 2024, the service has blocked fewer and fewer spam calls. If that’s because the scammers have gotten a lot better, then the service just isn’t worth it anymore. If that’s they’re at the limit of their tech and they need more money for more infrastructure, then it’s not worth it because that’s a never ending problem and the scammers won. If it’s because they’re greedy, then it’s not worth it because the company has become just another greedy tech company that’s uninterested in client satisfaction. This last one I suspect is the case. They want double what Dropout charges for a subscription to sometimes block some maybe spam calls. I’m very disappointed. I have referred probably a couple dozen friends and coworkers to this service over the years and now it’s overpriced garbage. ### 1/5 — Stops all vm’s *2026-08-14, version 24.7.55* I tried to remove this app from my phone and now nobody at all can leave a message. ### 1/5 — Price increased from $8 to $13, really? Even when I stared on my voicemail greeting robo callers will be blocked and they still leave messages! It makes me so upset! I wish this whole operations just shut down or get sued! I can accept a call it tried to flag, and if I get another spam call at the same time, it will put my real call on hold and no way to switch back. I still get massive amounts of spam calls/texts/voicemails about lending regardless. Since I’ve installled it, I’ve had my husband and other family members start to get spam addressed to me instead, and that is a worse problem. No. I had to quit at $5.99 due to hard times. And now that I can afford that 5.99 tag it's telling me it's increased? Hell no. I'll just block numbers when they call. I don't care if they're being spoofed or not. I don't ever answer my phone anyway and I only know like 2 people. Bring your rates back down or keep losing customers. Everyone is struggling in this terrible economy.
