Second of all, the other app that’s supposed to work with it says: “This app is not supported anymore” which is highly irritating regarding the fact, You pay money for the Toy itself, and one of the most exciting feature doesn’t even work! I have a book that does more than the Roboraptor. I feel enough has been said and hopefully I get the Roboraptor Blue, if it doesn’t work, shame. Regarding the other review, it probably will not be compatible unless it has Bluetooth, which is highly unlikely due to the fact it’s an old model not specifically designed to work with this. Straight to the point...the toy is expensive and the quality is poor. The toy just didn't work period. Huge disappoint especially when our son said this was his favorite toy. I spent 45 minutes opening the toy undoing all the tape, ties, screws, etc from the cardboard box. The first sign of poor quality is with the physical remote that had the Demo button upside down. I put all brand new batteries in and the toy made mechanical sounds but did not move or do anything. The physical remote did not do anything and the toy didn't respond. Installed this app and the same result, nothing worked. This may be just a defective toy but you expect something this expensive and technology driven that the quality would be inspected. It was sad to see the disappointment on our son's face and trying to explain to him why it wasn't working. We are taking this back immediately.
