## What is Robson?

Contribute to the development of new technologies with the power of your native language! You’ll be asked to record short phrases, participate in phone conversations with your friends, transcribe a speech sample, or complete another language-related task. Once your contributions have been reviewed, you’ll be paid via PayPal transfer.

And there are no special skills necessary! Just complete these quick, simple tasks and you’ll be paid quickly and fairly. Your contributions - which are anonymized and kept secure - will be used to power the future of language technology. 

How do I get started?
Joining our community is free! Here’s how to get started:

1- Download the Robson app
2- Register and create a profile
3- Select and complete a task
4- Our experts review your contributions
5- You receive your payment

Will I really get paid?
Yes! We pay you fairly for your time.

Your payment will be sent via Paypal after we have verified that you completed each task successfully. Our verification process can take a few days. Once we’ve approved your contributions, you will receive your reward within a maximum of 10 days.

What types of tasks can I complete?
- Read simple sentences out loud
- Produce sentences as if you were speaking to a home assistant or connected car

After working with them all last year and having absolutely no problems…..after the new year I received multiple assignments to complete! So of course I was eager to finish them up as they are first come first serve. Let me tell you I have not been paid for NOT ONE OF THEM that I fully completed this year and have been waiting on my payments well over a month now. Tried emailing them numerous times and of course…no reply at all! Nothing! Please do not deal with Robson if you are planning on getting paid as you are due!!! Learn from my lesson!!!!!!!! 😡

I’ve only had the app for a short period of time and only completed one task so far .. BUT I really think I’m going to like it! First off, the app itself is extremely easy to use and everything is super easy to find! Now let’s talk about the tasks! If you can read and you can talk .. you can complete these tasks! Super easy! Not too long! Fair pay! Oh, did I mention they pay you directly to your PayPal?! LOVE IT! 💛💛💛💛💛

I’ve completed several tasks on the Robson app and it’s gone smoothly. I got paid without a problem which is what I think everyone worries about. The tasks were enjoyable and I look forward to more becoming available. At the moment you can’t make this a full time gig. It is a cool side job though.

Be it literal hiccups or a hiccup in an expected process, they are typically rare and nearly always temporary. 

I've been working with Robsen over two years now and have had one hiccup which was resolved in less than two days (and only one email).  

Professional organization that is easy to navigate and expects stellar workmanship (as much as I do).  I really enjoy working with them and look forward to many future projects!

I absolutely loved this app. Once I put it on, I had no problem doing the 275 initial tasks. I only ended up having to redo one of them and got paid quickly and efficiently. I would do tasks on this every day, if they would let me. Very instructive, very easy to use and in my case very rewarding. I have recommended it to everybody I know.

I’ve completed several jobs for Robson and never had any issues. The app is super easy to use. You hit record, read whatever is written on the screen, stop recording and hit submit. Be sure to record in a very quiet room or they’ll send the recording back to you and ask you to redo it. I’ve had to redo some of my recordings 2-3 times because there was faint noise in the background but they’ve never outright rejected me and I’ve always received the full pay. Once your recordings have been approved, you get your money via PayPal. The only issue I see is there aren’t enough available jobs. Other than that, I recommend Robson App to anyone. I think it’s a great app.

I had to learn a few things to get my recording right: Take a breath BEFORE pressing the recording button; have your lips apart BEFORE pressing the record button; and be silent AFTER pressing the recording button because for a half-second it’s still recording! Oh, have some water with you, your mouth will get a bit dry.

When I first agreed to do the job I was skeptical.  But decided to give it a try.   After a few revisions my project was approved.  All along the team was very kind and courteous. Don’t even waste your time. Biggest rip off…they say use headphones so I do and I make sure to listen to every few recording to ensure my voice is clear and then I get an email saying that every single one of y recordings needs to be re recorded?!?! I spent an hour or more recording their sentences and my voice was clear and precise. I made sure. They said there was background noise when there was none at all. You can hear when the recording goes on and when it goes off and my voice very clear in it…second time this happens — save your time

Like the reviewer before me, I set up my profile several months ago and never received any tasks. The five star reviews on here seem fishy as most are in the same tone, and several are bunched on the same days. I’m deleting the app after posting this review. Waste of time.
