Tapping on the John and Mike options prompts you to get pro. It didn’t used to this hard. Fix it, or give your in app purchases away to people who have bought your apps and are now seeing them depreciate. I hate it when app developers just give up on their apps, and this is what Lumbeats have now done. *** original review >>>> Almost solves the massive gap in the iOS world of music making. It’s just great for firing up, letting the intensity and jam give it a human feel and get on with finding your next song structure. All of Lumbeats’s drum apps would benefit from a ‘jam screen’, where all the controls are away leaving maybe 6 pad areas, so that whilst playing guitar/piano, you could quickly move the hand over and grab a fill, or a variation without having to be precise in where you are hitting, allowing you to concentrate on your actual playing. Charge for it as an IAP perhaps. Top app all the same ### 2/5 — Crashes when exporting audio *2022-09-28, version 4.18* I bought this app with high hopes. The design is truly great. Unfortunately it crashes randomly when creating beats and consistently crashes whenever I try to export the audio. (I kinda need to be able to export my work.) I've reached out to the developer hoping they will fix these issues. If they fix these issues I will award a 5 star rating. I enjoy using it like metronome for a practice tool. I also use the app to quickly create and export grooves to use on demos. I do wish the drum fills were a little better. I have tried using a Yamaha DD-60 but I am never really pleased with the results. This app, however, allows me to design a very realistic drum line. I enjoy being able to morph the drums, add fills on the fly. It adds a more human feel to the final results. I can then add synths, bass, guitar and voice as needed. My main beef is this. I cannot locate a simple start and stop recording option like many other music apps provide. My workaround is to do a screen recording, save it and upload the movie with audio to my server. Then I download the movie and strip the audio out via GoldWave.
