### 3/5 — Landscape

*2025-10-12, version 1.1.58*

Please please make display landscape for iPad

### 4/5 — For P1l printer allow us to use already made QR codes

*2025-09-29, version 1.1.53*

Wish for more options not just autogenerate QR code but to also let us print out existing QR codes like for a WiFi or devices that already have a QR code

### 2/5 — cannot login to existing account on macOS

*2025-07-16, version 1.1.53*

I don’t see anywhere to login to my account, only create a new one.

### 2/5 — Not as impressed as others

*2025-06-06, version 1.1.48*

Complete review will come after I’ve used it a bit but first off it does not support landscape mode on an iPad so if you are trying to take advantage of an iPad with external keyboard your screen view is rotated 90 degrees. That sure was not thought out well at all. We will have to try to use it, the failure to support landscape mode is huge for me, before commenting on the rest of the app’s design and implementation.

### 2/5 — Great product but stuck on old version

*2025-02-17, version 1.1.44*

Won’t let me download version 1.0 firmware… app says version 0.5.13 is the newest version!

### 2/5 — Overly complicated

*2024-05-31, version 1.1.7*

No way to erase Denis. This app needs a lot of work

### 2/5 — Useless

*2024-05-29, version 1.1.3*

None of the calculators work after the update. App is pretty much worthless at this point

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2024-05-01, version 1.0.51*

This tape is life changing.
Step up your game step up your quality.
Then find out you step up your profits.

### 2/5 — No T1 firmware update

*2024-04-24, version 1.0.51*

In the recent update discrimination it says T1 firmware update. this is a lie im still showing 0.4.9 as current firmware is this a bug or have to wait another 6 months for it to show up.

### 4/5 — Useful tool, but needs a few updates.

*2024-04-16, version 1.0.49*

I am only using the Reekon M1 as of now and still use the app even though the M1 does not connect. I like that I can make a cut list and the utilities are great. However, one thing that makes me crazy every time I use the app….
Using the fractional calculator (one of the best and easiest I have used)
Cannot be used without clicking on a project, then a space, and then an area.
For quick measurement I’d like to just be able to click the fractional calculator button and open right up to it…. Not select a project or open any spaces. If that one single thing would have been implemented I’d give it a 5 star.
I still use it, and it is very helpful, but to make things smoother and quicker for quick cuts, changing to option to have one button opening, would be a huge benefit

### 5/5 — AMAZING!!!!

*2024-04-02, version 1.0.49*

I finally had a chance to really use the tomahawk and app. The automated save measurements to the project in app is great. I found the equal distance option which helped getting the spacing for screws was a great feature. Love this tool and the app.

### 5/5 — T1 Tomahawk Digital Tape Measure

*2024-03-24, version 1.0.49*

Excellent app. Easy to use and organize projects. Has categories as well as sub categories. Well done!

### 5/5 — Almost there but could use that cherry on top

*2024-03-01, version 1.0.41*

Love the app but I’d really like to see them integrate drag to reorder! Would be great to be able to order my spaces by importance or really just any order I see fit. Homeowners are often all over the place so being able to order things after a walkthrough would make organizing my jobsite a lot easier.

### 5/5 — Awesome tool

*2024-02-27, version 1.0.41*

This tape measure is fantastic. Far exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend it to all contractors.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work as shown

*2025-01-24, version 1.1.43*

I’m unable to upload a PDF drawings as shown on the video. Defeating the reason I purchased the tape measure to use with my work. Hopefully they will fix it as I just get a blank screen.

### 1/5 — Never works

*2025-01-19, version 1.1.43*

Definitely not quite self-explanatory. The menus are very basic and very lacking. I’ve had this thing well over almost 2 years always the batteries are dead. They finally fixed the firmware so that won’t go dead, but now no measurements going into the app tried everything firmware update. twice really should’ve never bought it

### 1/5 — So far I’ve wasted $100

*2024-09-27, version 1.1.30*

Just got my label printer. Thought I would be able to print a QR code and attach a pdf to it. Are you telling me I have to have all my customers download your app to view the pdf?

### 1/5 — Not Impressed

*2024-09-21, version 1.1.22*

Very good surprise to get the P1 Tagger today! Knew it was shipping but wasn’t like Amazon in terms of an update when it was en-route. Not pleased, however, that custom labels can’t be made with text…the entire reason why I purchase the printer in the first place. Trying to use the tools within the app don’t work and there is no ability to customize any sort of label. Will update review if support is provided but first impression is not what I hoped.

### 1/5 — Initial reaction...

*2024-09-17, version 1.1.22*

Got printer, labels pre-installed - Backwards!! Thankfully, I am smarter than their QA / assembly people and instantly knew how the printer works, and knew the hot thermal print engine can't be on the movable part..

Speaking of which, the button to open the printer is the single worst design for a button I've encountered in about 60 years... So weak and flimsy I KNOW it will be broken after about the 3rd roll of labels...

But, that isn't the app... So... About the app...

Inital response and impression... Continue as guest... (Obviously you can use everything on the printer without an account right? What idiot would design it so you needed an account or internet (on a job site??)

OK, tried to print a label, it asks me to login, I say skip for now... Back to print screen.. Hit print... Asks me to login.... I smash my phone and the printer with a 16 Lb sledgehammer... OK, only want to.. Nearly slammed the printer to the floor though!

OK, I was doing a simple test QR code (one I might print a lot with this), and of course, I had to create an account, I used a 18 letter ransom password...

Upper and lower case, no words used, No acronyms... Not good enough need a symbol... Whatever... 19 letters then...

I had to start over on the label... After creating an account (not allowed to connect a printer without a stupid account!! Garbage...)

OK, so got the stupid account setup, and then had to recreate the label again!!! (Save button at bottom didn't seem to save anywhere!)

No, have to connect a device, and it won't connect from the print page! So I had to back out the the main page - it says to go to TOOLS menu, which for those people who know English, is called "Devices" NOT TOOLS, go there connect...

Create the label from scratch for the 3rd time...

It printed fine, except, it had the company name on the left side along with the title... Yeah, no, don't want that! Zero reason anyone would want that on EVERY label!!! NOT what I bought this for (to print their advertising? Sure, they just have to pay me $100/month for the ads being all over the place...

OK, well, I hit the "edit" to edit the label and remove that (it is clearly a software issue... Can't remove it!)

Well, at least the printed QR code is correct, and I could take sizzors and cut every label I print before I use them..

And I'd bet it didn't save this label again...

Gee guys, thanks...

And I don't want it saved to the cloud, having a backup of the phone gives me a full backup... No need for it to be shipped to another country...

I also wonder if I can buy standard Avery labels, I would HOPE so, but not seen that yet...

I hope the labels for screws and bolts don't was precious label space with their logo... Would rather have MY logo there if it has to print something there..

Good luck with this...

Ps: they call it a cloud because:

   it is along way away
. YOU have ZERO control over YOUR data
. You have no control over when it goes away
. You can't control who has access to it, or where it gets sold to
. It often costs a bundle to get stuff into or out of it
. And lastly, they can change the price for thst access at any time

And it is actually a very harsh place to put anything, and it can just blow away without you being able to do anything about it..

Why the big push to move everything to the "cloud" (which they call it that to pretend it is pretty, and wonderful and amazing and looks soft and puffy! Exact opposite is true...)

### 1/5 — Can't update firmware

*2024-03-17, version 1.0.41*

Tomahawk T1. Constantly receive a "Could not fetch firmware file" message. For that money it's too bad start for using this tool.

### 1/5 — Rubbish.

*2024-02-06*

Doesn’t work. Wasted so much time on this trash.

**Developer response:** Hello! We would be happy to help with any issues you are having, send us an email at contact@reekon.tools and we would be happy to assist

### 1/5 — Why???

*2024-01-14, version 1.0.23*

Why MUST I chose a project, space(?), and area EVERY TIME I want to use a utility? How about remembering things? I don’t want to track that way anyway.
The “Let’s Get Started” instructions said to search for The ROCK App which comes up with rock identification apps in the App Store. How about a QR CODE INSTEAD?
None of the printed instructions mention anything about the included “StealthMounts” piece of plastic or the metal clip/guard that hovers over the e-paper display. What are they for? Why isn’t there additional instructions in the app, at least?

### 1/5 — Incorrect integration

*2023-12-31, version 1.0.23*

How come do i get different number from the tape to the app?? For example, if I get 2.47 on tape, I sometimes get 2.47 or 2.25…. Not reliable at all. Fraction works perfectly but not decimals. Fix it

### 1/5 — Terrible integration with Tomahawk T1

*2023-12-28, version 1.0.23*

After finally receiving the T1, I went about testing out the app and discovered that there is literally zero integration between the app and the T1, aside from the app “connecting” to the tool. No means to sync data, Live Mode appears to do nothing. Furthermore, the tool itself lacks several features that it’s own documentation highlights! Seriously? At this time, I can’t say enough bad things about this fraud phony system. Maybe it works with their M1 better, but I’ll never know because after this, I’ll never buy something mad by Reekon again.

### 5/5 — Now I don’t feel dumb

*2026-04-18, version 1.1.58*

This app is amazing. Getting old sucks hard to see the tape measure anymore and having this app makes projects wi

### 5/5 — This thing is unbelievable. Awesome tools

*2025-12-11, version 1.1.58*

I bought the t1 m measure tape and the p1 printer and only dream I was smart enough to know how to use it but a carpenter will. It literally figures every fraction of an inch of an entire house and lets you print labels to stick to every board to scan and know exactly what cuts to make. I can’t wait to use it and educate myself on it and these tools are all military grade tools coated in rubber. REEKON you got something here that should take over the measuring market. Don’t regret a penny I spent on them

### 5/5 — T1 Reekon

*2025-01-12, version 1.1.38*

I just got my T1 Reekon, and I must say it’s impressive. I’m very pleased in the workmanship. This will definitely be my go-to measuring device for on now… I will be definitely freeing up space in my toolbox… Thanks guys for this awesome tool! I will be purchasing another T1 real soon so I can have it in multiple toolboxes…. Sarge Acworth, Ga

### 5/5 — Digital age!

*2024-09-14, version 1.1.22*

As I move away from paper to digital I am delighted to better manage my time and projects. The easy display and feature rich app gives me many opportunities to incorporate efficiency into my work flow. The connected world is the way to go. I am happy not to lose “pieces of paper” or wonder if that was an “9” or a “6”. Well done Reekon!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2024-05-31, version 1.1.7*

A fab compliment to the tape measure. Not had any problems, works flawlessly. Good work devs!

### 5/5 — Reekon Tools

*2024-05-31, version 1.1.7*

Reekon tools are absolute top shelf and the competitors cannot come even close for quality and accuracy, it took a while to receive my Tomahawk but it was well worth the wait, I cannot wait to get the next iteration of Reekon tools and ideas, stay strong and keep up the awesome Work

### 5/5 — DYI

*2024-05-04, version 1.1.3*

Excellent application that works fantastic in combination with the T1, it’s amazing time saving and effortless execution, I love.
