## What is Rock Spring Shuttle?

The Rock Spring Park Express is a convenient, dependable and FREE shuttle service, providing quick connections between the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Station and Rock Spring Park – the activity center triangle bordered by the I-270 spurs, Democracy Boulevard, and Old Georgetown Road.  If you work, visit or live in Rock Spring Park, you can take Metro to get there easily using this FREE service.

Express service runs continually every 10 minutes during the peak period, from 6 – 9 am and 3 – 7 pm.  It operates non-stop between the Metro station and Rock Spring Park with 5 stops within the Park.  Stops within the Park are marked with special signage using the Express logo shown here.

Montgomery County’s Department of Transportation is pleased to offer this mobile bus locator app to enable riders to see where the Rock Spring Express vehicles are along the route in RealTime!  Please call the North Bethesda Transportation Center at (301) 770-8108 for further information.

The shuttles do not run every 10 minutes as advertised. The default location still shows San Ramon/Dublin/Castro Valley in California after I had notified customer service of this issue 1 month ago. When you GPS your location in Rock Spring Park, no shuttles are visible.

New app update is defaulting to show routes in San Ramon,CA instead of the Rock Spring Route in Montgomery County. Route ID defaults to “VISA”

App is hit or miss as not all buses have a trackers/GPS. The frequency of shuttle departures is also inconsistent from the metro stop to the business park.
