The app UI isn’t that great also the app is full of bugs. Currently, I can’t send any messages to anyone. If they fix these bugs it’d be great and I’d give 5 stars! ### 4/5 — Overall Great App! *2021-11-22, version 1.2.3* I love that ice, dry, and mixed was added! Some of the gear selection is a bit irrelevant but interesting nonetheless! As someone who frequently travels between cities and has memberships in multiple areas, I would love to see the ability to add your location to your profile or even be able to change location for planning trips to a specific area. I’d also love to be able to write more in the bio! While the concept is great and the app is easy to navigate I found myself unable to delete my account( I no longer need the app). As others have pointed out, getting notified when someone sends you a request to climb - perhaps THE most important functionality - doesn’t work. After a couple weeks I logged on to see if anyone has responded or reached out to find that I got a couple messages a week ago. I responded and never heard back, probably for the same reason. ### 3/5 — Great Idea, Bad Execution *2022-12-06, version 1.5* I love the idea of being able to find climbing partners easily, but the app has two major flaws: very few users and buggy notification. I can never respond to climbers messages on time because I do not get message notifications. Rock base makes accessing partners and their skill levels/stoke a heck of a-lot easier than scouring your local Facebook group. Whether you’re a 13+ climber or looking to get out on some real rock for the first time, rock-base has something for everyone.
