App is very laggy to the point where it is almost unusable. I don’t have an hour to spare for each upload. Rocketbook, fix this or you’re going to lose a lot of customers. ### 3/5 — Disappointed and Cloud-less *2026-05-20, version 3.6.5* Updating my review from 1 to 3, since the app let me in again after a few hours. Not a great experience when so much data can be lost! Always back up your data using a different service. Original review: The app won’t allow me to log in after the most recent update. I sign in with my information and the screen fades before I’m back on the log in screen. I try to reset my password- nothing. I try to create a new account- the app tells me that account already exists and I can “link with that account.” I do. Nothing happens. I’m locked out of my notes. If I ever get back in, I’ll just take photos of my notebook and zip them somewhere local. Thanks for not having any error messages or in-app trouble shooting. Great customer experience. If I have one complaint it's that there does not seem to be any way to have android and ios versions of the app to sync my work despite the app having a sign in option. ### 3/5 — Unable to Sync Pages Since Upgrade *2026-05-07, version 3.6.5* The ability to scan handwritten notes is wonderful in the business world. Csak fotoim lesznek… ### 4/5 — Rocketbook and AI is the best combo. *2026-02-28, version 3.6.4* I’ve had my Rocketbook notebook for many years now. I love taking handwritten notes. But I don’t like having to manually transfer them to priority list or two digital task management software. Now I can take a picture of my handwritten note and send it to my AI mobile app. And because I’ve trained my AI app, it knows what to do with my notes. Either automatically add a task to my task management system system, or add an item to one of my recurring meeting notes for future discussion, or to my weekly priority list. My only wish would be for the Rocketbook app to allow me to choose an app on my phone as a default send location so I can automatically send a note to my AI app and save a few manual clicks. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Newest version *2026-08-21, version 4.0.0* Horrible! This latest version makes me sign into Dropbox every single time I have to upload my PDFs to any folder. Today, it won’t even accept my email address. WTH! This app is now becoming useless. Scanning is only half the work. Backing up my scans is the other. Update: I found that if I capitalize my email, it allowed me to log in. But now it doesn’t actually upload! ### 1/5 — The new app is horrible *2026-08-19, version 4.0.0* The new app is not streamlined and does not reduce clutter. They added “how to” which is useless for people who have been using the app with no way to get rid of the cards. Yes, it is nice that when you click the camera it immediately comes up, but the interface after you take a screenshot is too busy/cluttered. I’m in the beauty industry. I have created a template for consultations for facial treatments. I take my notes down and upload them to Google Drive after the service. I have the notes with me at any given time.
