Hopefully the ability to earn Atmos Rewards will continue and existing bookings will be honored. ### 3/5 — It’s alright *2025-07-10, version 4.14.1* If you travel for work, the rewards are great. Make sure you know where you’re going to be before 7 pm because the website basically shuts down. It will not locate a hotel for you after 7. I travel frequently at a moments notice, I’m writing this at 7:07 and I can not book through this app because no hotels can be found. I don’t always know where I’m going to end up so I don’t book anything until last minute. ### 2/5 — Error and price changes in a second *2025-02-07, version 4.14.1* When I try to book a room Error pops out , and also its not logical that the price changes within seconds , I hope you work on the technical issues ### 4/5 — Booked first trip *2024-06-10, version 4.11.1* Booked first trip with them. Zero issues. Miles were awarded like two days after I checked out of the hotel. Customer service answered questions I had about my hotel stay. Will book again The app is extremely buggy. Failed log in. Failed connections and searches. Needs to be updated and fixed. Use the website ### 3/5 — ok, not great *2024-02-18, version 4.11.1* Fast enough functionality which is convenient vs a desktop login, but a few annoying flaws: app constantly requires signing in again aka doesn't remain logged in after closing app; after viewing a property, pressing back to results page often requires an entire reload which is slow and annoying; the sliders on the filters screen are HORRIBLE and make the frame's page scroll around instead - fix the sensitivity ### 4/5 — Overall, a good hotel booking site *2023-08-27, version 4.10.0* Overall, it’s a good app and is my go-to site when I’m traveling and you do earn a chunk of miles on each visit; 1000 miles per night is easy to get, so your miles swiftly add up. Several improvements are needed though. 1) There’s no way to leave a review of the hotel! You can READ the booking.com reviews but can’t leave a review on Rocketmiles or on booking.com! 2) USUALLY, the Rocketmiles fees are OKAY, (usually c$10) but sometimes the fees can be more than 15%, and, in one case, more than 50%! Advertising the ACTUAL price rather than adding the Rocketmiles fees later would be an improvement! 3) Too often the app logs me out and I have to log back in! 4) The room description is often woefully inadequate! Most descriptions of the hotel’s talk of “select rooms having air conditioning”. Why not copy the description from the hotel website?! 5) Charges for parking and resort fees are not specified, which can have a major impact on price; I had a hotel that charged $50 per night for parking! I know that prices change but that COULD be made clear. ### 2/5 — Exercise caution *2023-02-09, version 4.6.0* Double charged me for a hotel stay. Refused to refund me, then refused to give me the American Airlines miles for both stays. Ignored requests to resolve the issue, rather than addressing the problem. Earning rewards for travel is nice, but consumers should exercise caution when using this app. It is glitchy. Even their customer support says so. ### 3/5 — App Doesn’t Provide Same Deals As Website *2023-01-19, version 4.6.0* The app doesn’t seem to provide the same deals as the website. For instance, I wasn’t able to purchase bonus miles when I tried to book my reservation via the app, but I was able to do so using the website. I went to book online but the booking kept failing. I’m the end the price increased but the booking went through. I had thought that room was no longer available. Today I see the same room for $100 less (30%) across many competitions. Customer services said there is nothing they can do. I feel this is due to their technical issues and I’m very unhappy. $100 is not worth 2,000 airline points. ### 1/5 — Scam *2022-08-31, version 4.6.0* Rocketmiles wanted personal information to hand out my reward. I reached out to the company that the gift card was for, and they said it was sketchy, and would look into the matter further. ### 1/5 — App deleted all my reservations *2022-08-28, version 4.6.0* Bad glitch. Needs an update. All my reservations from my account have disappeared: upcoming, completed, and canceled. Have reached out by phone and emails and no response. But recently app no longer show my reservations. I can see my reservations on PC in browser. I called their support and they ask me to re-install the app. Same issue, no reservations. After checking back and forth to make my decision about which hotels to book, I noticed that the miles offered started to drop every time I returned after checking a different hotel. One went from 10K miles to 7k , and another 15k to 7k , and no change in hotel price. 🤔 For that reason I’m not booking with this dishonest company I’m going to book with Booking.com and delete this app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No account access *2025-02-23, version 4.14.1* No help from developers to fix lack of access to reservations after reservations are made. The app will show “no reservations “ when clicking on completed or future reservations tabs. ### 1/5 — Scammy? *2024-10-22, version 4.13.1* None of my Amazon gift cards have been delivered to me after 4 months. ### 1/5 — Never sent me Amazon giftcards *2024-10-03, version 4.12.1* Used RocketMiles to get Amazon giftcards and never got sent anything. Also says that “rates are no longer available” 30 Seconds after my search. Then, when I refresh my search, the rate that supposedly wasn’t available anymore is still Shown. Really not worth the hassle. ### 1/5 — Steer Clear!!! *2023-03-04, version 4.6.0* It’s all been very frustrating… don’t go offf of the stars in the App Store, Google Rocketmiles before you commit. The reviews outside of the App Store tell a different story. If I could give this app a negative star count, I would. Customer support is pointless and prices are highly inflated compared to booking straight from the hotel. Use caution when booking. The majority of the bookings are non-refundable and the company will not work with you, regardless of the circumstances. I write this after using the app multiple times. The first few bookings went great, after that, it was all down hill. I have had to fight with them for being double charged, the Rocketmiles side, when checking into the hotels, have been declined and I have had to purchase the hotel separately, which also took hours to deal with, and customer service, although they are very nice for the most part, the majority of the operators are unwilling to help. Getting help usually takes several phone calls to get to a person who cares. ### 1/5 — Unreliable bookings and horrible customer service *2023-02-03, version 4.6.0* I booked a room on RocketMiles and I received an error message stating the room was not booked. "We reached out to our hotel providers but we were unable to confirm your booking. Sorry for the inconvenience." Even though I never received a hotel booking they still charged my card. When I called customer service they confirmed the problem and promised to refund the false charge minus the value of the points. I received an email two weeks later that the hotel would not process the refund. After several weeks fighting with them and a dozen calls I received most of my money back. I will never book with them again, it's not worth it. ### 1/5 — Horrible App *2022-12-02, version 4.6.0* The functionality of this app is awful. I’ve attempted to login in but it glitches and won’t allow me to make my reservation. I used to use Rocketmiles all the time but due to this issue I’ve been using hotel locality apps and hotels.com. Get your bugs worked out so I can use your services and earn miles! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Best booking app for airline points *2025-07-24, version 4.14.2* I’ve been using Rocketmiles for years. You definitely get the most value for your money by using this app. The number of airline points that you get is unequal anywhere. They are also very courteous and efficient when it comes to customer service. I just saw that the app will be discontinued in September 2025 and I am very disappointed about that. ### 5/5 — Very good - particularly when expensing *2025-02-16, version 4.14.1* We travel for different reasons and paying from different budgets. Booking with Rocketmiles essentially costs a bit more, but gives big benefits. When traveling for work to the Middle East for example I have paid about 15% higher than if I booked directly with the hotel, but earned 40,000 Virgin Miles which was quite enough for a transatlantic trip. Typically I don’t use rocketmiles for personal trips, but I do check.
