Downloading Rodent Repellent was a waste of time. When the app is opened and try to use it bombards you with a monthly subscription fee. I hate this app

Is there a way to run this app in the background so I can do other things with my phone?  Currently, the app only runs if it is on the screen and stops when I use another app.
