What a Joke and waste of time. ### 2/5 — Clunky controls, seemingly limited searching *2024-05-11, version 4.15.12* Setting up multiple filters is a major hassle as after each filter, the app takes you back to the search results. It becomes really infuriating when using the slide bars for mileage or price. Additionally, it doesn’t seem to search outside of the one zip code that you provide. I gave it an extra star because the filters are extensive. The vehicle that I searched for has two seating configurations. Most apps don’t bother filtering on this, this app does the best job of offering as many filters as they could. ### 1/5 — Zero follow up *2024-04-22, version 4.15.11* I tried using RODO to purchase a car, but there was zero (and I mean ZERO) communication after I submitted the order. I had to call for an update after a few days and was told the car I had ordered wasn’t available, but they found one in the next level trim. Ok fine - more than I wanted or needed but whatever. Days go by and I still haven’t heard anything so I have to reach out again for an update and was given some story about them not knowing the VIN yet. At this point I gave up and went straight to a local dealer online, who had everything done in under an hour of texting back and forth. I picked up my car the next day. Still never heard anything from RODO - complete waste of my time. ### 1/5 — Subscription fee?!?! *2024-04-09, version 4.15.11* I’ve leased a car from Rodo and referred many friends. The inventory is not always the most accurate but at the end it all worked out. But now they want to charge us a fee AND receive their commission from the dealership?? No way i’m paying 99 a year when leasing a car is once every 3 years. Terrible. Edit 4/9/24. Dev responded back saying they added a 49/mo option now. If it were 5 or even 10 per month I would consider browsing for the month or 2 leading up to the car purchase/lease. But not 49. It still doesn't help the fact that more than half the times the car you like is magically not in stock by the time you press purchase. The dealership might list their inventory on Rodo but when it comes to doing a Rodo deal, they definitely reject purchases on purpose. I tried leasing a car that was “sold” once. When I found the exact advertised car at the dealership, the sales manager says they cannot honor the Rodo price because its too low. Just doesn't make sense to pay 99 a month to browse deals that sometimes aren't even deals. Dealerships charge over msrp all the time on Rodo. ### 1/5 — Loyal customers *2024-04-09, version 4.15.11* This app has worked wonderful for me in the past especially during my time of need while buying a home in this tough market. I tired to get a deal done with RODO in 2022. However, the car I wanted with a NJ dealership fell through because they had electrical issues all of a sudden after I submitted my application and Social Security with RODO. The dealership and RODO was willing to work with me. Now it’s time for me to help my sister buy a car, I noticed that we now have to pay. The whole point of using this app is to use without hassle and this is now a hassle. Your loyal customers shouldn’t have to pay. I have referred several family and friends to use this app and now they wouldn’t even download it. Please give an option not to pay and use this app and make it make sense again. RODO has now officially lost me as a customer and back to the dealerships in person again. My new tactic, is to skip the middle man (RODO) and sales person to talk to the sales manager. I would earn a better and hassle free deal now. Was shocked to see they want to charge a fee to access the app. It’s like Zillow charging a home buyer to look at houses. Why would a customer want to pay a broker to see their brokered products that they get a fee on if they sell? Weird new business model. Pass for me. Developer reached out to note they offer a monthly plan for 50.00!! This is laughable. Seems like 0 market research was performed.
