I got the modem yesterday, and follow the guide to install. I try to sign in this app and it’s show “Something went wrong, there’s been an unexpected error”. I called the customer service hotline, no agent pick my call for whole day. How can I fix this problem?

Just updated the app today (Aug 4 2026) and it still won’t let me log in.   Still get the “Something went wrong.  There was an unexpected error”.   This is insanity!   Cant change anything or properly secure our wifi without the app as Rogers locks out the majority of the settings on the backend and says it requires you to log into the app to change those settings.    
Rogers fix your broken app or unlock the router settings on the backend!!!

Got a message from developers with instructions on fixing the problem.   Tried all steps and still no go for log in!
FIX YOUR DAMN APP ROGERS OR UNLOCK ROUTER BACKEND!

I have talked to tech support and they said they are aware of the issue.   Its been a week and a half and still no fix to the app.   Did not have this many issues when it was Shaw, ever since Rogers took over our service has been garbage!   Nothing but problems!!!!

I have to enter my username and password each time, why no Face ID available? Also, the onscreen keyboard is nowhere to be found during password filling. (On iPad) This is important as some users like to pepper their passwords. Having no keyboard makes this impossible. Please fix this. (I notice the keyboard is present using iPhone but not on iPad) Thanks

I’ve been trying on and off for over a month to login to this app and all I get is “something went wrong” and “There’s been an unexpected error” trust it’s not unexpected anymore. I can barely login to the MyRogers app but finally managed to tried to get to talk so someone about my technical issues and somehow in the middle of me filling out my information for tech support my chat timed out. So now I’m here. What even is the point of having an app that I can manage my modem if I can’t login due to a now very expected “unexpected error”
