### 2/5 — I paid 2 dollars?

*2020-06-10*

I can’t get pass 25 space Cotton balls. I’m in an infinite loop.

### 4/5 — A great BSS game, but only one problem

*2019-02-19*

As the final BSS game I tried, I wasn't sure what to think going in, because endless runners aren't usually my type of game. It was an ok game, but you can make it much more fun by buttering up. This costs you $2, and allows you to unlock more interesting ships and characters, each having their own power. If you don’t butter up, it’s not really as enjoyable of a game. However, if you’re willing to pay 2 bucks, I would recommend it.

### 4/5 — Not usually one to follow a studio

*2018-06-05*

However, Butterscotch Shenanigans is a really good one. Is Roid Rampage the best game of theirs I’ve played? No, so far that’s Crashlanders. That game is a top 5 mobile game for me and top 50 of all-time.

This one is a solid endless asteroid field game that is tough enough to be considered rogue-like. Quirky, funny, and easy to learn with good music and sound effects: what’s not to like?

One of my favorite parts of BS is the ID and shared game unlocking feature. Accomplish something in one game, unlock something in another. When I first saw this I thought “well crap, this is how they are going to push me to buy other crappy games just to get critical things here” but that couldn’t be further from the truth. The unlocks are nice but not game changers in games that are totally worth getting. Quirky, polished games with easy controls, tough gameplay, great sound and if it isn’t a buy upfront (like Crashlanders) it’s a single cheap in-app purchase to unlock it all. These guys have absolutely nailed in for a successful mobile ecosystem that is easy to support.

### 4/5 — Registration issues

*2017-10-30*

Fun game, but annoying that you have to register with the game to unlock anything if you don’t want to pay right away. Tried multiple times to register to get the email, but it never came through. Tried going to the main website, no way to submit problem to request email

### 5/5 — I LOVE BUTTERSCOTCH GAMES

*2017-06-03*

I started playing your games by watching a friend play Crashlands on steam! I bought it on my iPod and loved the heck out of it! I wanted the perks for it so I got the rest of the games and loved them too! I just got and 85 juice run on this game and I am so proud of myself! I am going to butter up soon so I can unlock the rest of the ships. Thanks for the great games!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Why not just market the game at 1.99?

*2018-11-29*

To purchase different character skins or the ships in the game, you have to “Butter Up”- or pay $1.99. I don’t understand why the game wouldn't cost that to play it unless the developers were worried that their game wasn't even worth that and they wanted to lure people in with the prospect of a free game. The default character and ship only allows you to fly around and die in one hit, which would be fun if that was what the game advertised.
Not the worst game in the world. Just annoying.

### 1/5 — Generic and pointless

*2017-03-17, version 2.0.53*

Don't we have enough of these kinds of games in the App Store? I expected better from butter scotch. Also remember to make appropriate endings in games once they are beat.

### 1/5 — Not even a game

*2015-06-20, version 2.0.4*

All the feature that are shown in the description of this game are locked behind a paywall. To even access the fun part of this game requires 2 dollars! The game without any ships is just an unoriginal 2D flyer with no objective to work for. Any 5 star reviews for this game are not to be trusted, no one in their right mind would rate this 5 stars

### 1/5 — Lol why!!!

*2015-03-04, version 2.0.4*

Why are people giving this amazing reviews.
The game is actually awful and completely pointless.😂 it just does not make any sense.
Come on,wake up !! Hahahha what a joke

### 1/5 — Sans intérêt

*2015-03-03*

L'un des plus mauvais jeux de ces développeurs. Le jeu est très vite répétitif et il n'y a rien a faire, rien à débloquer. Le game play est sans intérêt. Bref il est très loin de la qualité de Quadropus Rampage que j'ai acheter.

### 1/5 — Ни о чем!!!

*2015-03-03*

Поиграл до двух смертей, ровно 2 минуты! Удалил! Полное угрюмое .... !!!

### 1/5 — Круто

*2015-03-03*

Скачивайте смело, люди!!!

### 1/5 — Скажите пожалуйста

*2015-03-03*

### 1/5 — İğrendim appleden

*2015-03-02, version 2.0.4*

### 1/5 — ANOTHER AWFUL GAME!

*2015-02-28, version 2.0.4*

IT WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER IF IT WAS A SEE-HOW-LONG-YOU-CAN-SURVIVE GAME WITH LES ASTEROIDS!
