After several attempts to charge my car at one of these charging points had to give up an go elsewhere. The QR code wouldn’t scan and the Bluetooth failed to find charger, total waste of time.

This is one of several genuinely terrible charging experiences I’ve had today. I’ve just left a blistering review for another EV charging point provider. In this case there were conflicting instructions on the charging point - with us being encouraged to download both the Rolec EV Connect app and the Monta app (same charge point). The Rolec app tried to use Bluetooth to identify the point and failed. It then suggested using a barcode, which failed. I’m pretty tech savvy, but I found this so unfathomable that I gave up and tried a different charging point. Have Rolex done any serious user testing? I’m guessing not. Dreadful experience. Talking about your car and authenticate your car so that your car and your car.

I am a competent electrical engineer and the poor human interface used to set up their Rolec ev charge points which should be a relatively simply matter they have managed to make as difficult as possible in addition to the app freezing and you leaving you staring at a never ending spinning wheel.

I went to visit a friend in the Middlesex hospital couple of months ago. Tried to charge my car in the underground car park which wasn’t possible. I entered £30 into the transaction. when I tried to get a refund from the Rolec team I was told it was in the app I’ve asked about three times now in an email what app so I can get my money back now I’m just being ignored. Totally unprofessional.

Because my Wi-Fi password is longer than your password field allows. Please change this. In days of need for enhanced cyber security this should be something you’re thinking of
