The last update was 7 years ago and numerous people have already commented about how much it lags and auto rotates. This game could be great if the developers cared enough to fix the issues. The lag is horrible. Just starting up the game there is already so much lag and the screen is constantly rotating on its own with no way to fix it. A real shame to have a great game get left behind by its developers. ### 1/5 — Avoid *2026-05-17, version 1.4* This used to be one of my favorite iPad games. I originally gave it a 5-star review. Then something happened. A bad update? A missing update? I don’t know. The screen now rotates after every play. There is no reason for it. It makes me seasick. The developer has evidently abandoned this game. So there’s no help there. ### 2/5 — Too many bugs! No fixes *2026-01-11, version 1.4* Played the board game for the first time and loved it so I thought I would have the same experience if I bought the iOS version for iPhone . After playing it for a couple of days, I’m deleting it. The constant screen rotations between rolls gave me a headache. I felt like the supposed randomness of the rolls didn’t seem so random. Having rolled dice land and stop behind the screen dismiss when playing horizontally is frustrating. The very annoying music was the first setting I turned to off. When playing against the computer, I saw it skip placing dice it obviously should have placed. It happens just after a human player has rolled the dice, like the screen flicks from portrait to landscape and back again. I just gave up because I had to keep shaking the phone. ### 4/5 — What’s up with the rotating screen? *2025-05-16, version 1.4* My kids and I love this game, but no matter which device we use, the screen moves in circles after every play. It’s so bad we can’t play the app anymore without at least one of us getting a headache before we’ve each played five times. ### 2/5 — Screen regularly spins orientation during play; NOT recommended *2025-01-29, version 1.4* When I play this on my iPhone 13 Pro (human vs 2 bots), everything works fine until my turn comes up. After rolling the dice, the appstarts spinning the screen orientation as if I’m rotating the phone. It rotates 90 degrees, then rotates back, and finally rotates a full 360, even though the phone hasn’t moved. It does this regardless of the phone’s actual orientation. No other game I have does this, but Roll For It does this consistently. It does the same trick (but only the 90 degree spin) when playing it on my iPad.
