### 2/5 — Too many bugs! No fixes

*2026-01-11, version 1.4*

Played the board game for the first time and loved it so I thought I would have the same experience if I bought the iOS version for iPhone .
After playing it for a couple of days, I’m deleting it. The constant screen rotations between rolls gave me a headache. I felt like the supposed randomness of the rolls didn’t seem so random. Having rolled dice land and stop behind the screen dismiss when playing horizontally is frustrating. The very annoying music was the first setting I turned to off. When playing against the computer, I saw it skip placing dice it obviously should have placed. Too many flaws to keep me interested in keeping.

### 4/5 — Great game, Horrible glitch

*2025-12-24, version 1.4*

Are you ever going to fix the horrible transition glitch on iPhone? It happens just after a human player has rolled the dice, like the screen flicks from portrait to landscape and back again. Would be a 5 otherwise!

### 4/5 — What’s up with the rotating screen?

*2025-05-16, version 1.4*

My kids and I love this game, but no matter which device we use, the screen moves in circles after every play. It’s so bad we can’t play the app anymore without at least one of us getting a headache before we’ve each played five times.

### 2/5 — Screen regularly spins orientation during play; NOT recommended

*2025-01-29, version 1.4*

When I play this on my iPhone 13 Pro (human vs 2 bots), everything works fine until my turn comes up. After rolling the dice, the appstarts spinning the screen orientation as if I’m rotating the phone. It rotates 90 degrees, then rotates back, and finally rotates a full 360, even though the phone hasn’t moved. It does this regardless of the phone’s actual orientation. No other game I have does this, but Roll For It does this consistently. It does the same trick (but only the 90 degree spin) when playing it on my iPad. Not recommended.

### 4/5 — 👍

*2024-12-01, version 1.4*

👍👍

### 3/5 — Addictive - but crashes

*2023-07-22, version 1.4*

Update from earlier review below, to say the game often crashes halfway thru these days - probably due to unnecessary (& only so-so) 3d graphics not required for such a simple game. Think it should be a more reliable 2d game with more options (vary no. dice or cards + maybe more interaction with opponents etc.).

A great simple but addictive dice game - can play against up to 3 other robots or friends. Luck-heavy, but you have to constantly weigh up the odds & there is plenty of tension as you try to win cards before anyone else. Only gripe is the visuals, which are rather basic & could do with some work, which would be well worth it for such a good game. Highly recommend it.

### 2/5 — Needs fixing!

*2023-04-25, version 1.4*

Reached out a year ago to no avail. They don’t care about the game issues. Right before my turn, the game board flips sideways for a second and turns back (back then). Now it two ways right before my turn. It’s very dizzying and super annoying! Either update your game software, or ai guess I’ll just delete the game (not that they care).

### 3/5 — A great game with serious interface flaws

*2023-02-14, version 1.4*

I was liking the option to play with real opponents via automatch until I realized some opponents were seemingly too lucky and always getting exactly the rolls they needed. I wondered about cheating and think I’ve figured out how cheating can take place. It’s disappointing. I prefer playing against real people but the potential for cheating killed the fun for me. The other issue is more technical. When in-game, The app constantly tries to re-orient my screen, always flipping upside down and back again with each turn taken. The device’s screen orientation lock doesn’t seem to be able to prevent this. Hopefully these can be fixed in future updates.

### 3/5 — Frustrated player

*2022-12-13, version 1.4*

Many people start online games and do not continue them, or they only continue if they are winning—as childish as that seems!

I want the ability to block online players who refuse to play the games that they start—I am tired of wasting my time on these childish time wasters.

Also, please verify that the score all purple card achievement is still available—I have definitely played and scored all purple cards!

### 4/5 — Two things

*2022-12-10, version 1.4*

If there was a way to change the score required to win. 40 is too low imo. I’d like to be able to set it to 100 for a nice long strategic game.

Also, sometimes you get 3 cards all requiring 6 dice. That takes most of the strategy out of the game. In those instances an extra die could be an option. Otherwise it’s only luck, not strategy.

### 2/5 — Hasn’t been updated in years

*2022-11-27, version 1.4*

This game was great, but online doesn’t work with the current operating systems.

### 1/5 — No Support ☹️

*2022-08-01, version 1.4*

It makes me rather sad to write this review… Support doesn’t seem to want to answer so I feel like this is my only option… Hopefully you will read this and care enough to want to reach out! All that being said it used to be one of my favorite games!

### 3/5 — Game crashing lately, and held dice view

*2021-12-27, version 1.4*

I believe one fix would can solve another issue. First l, since I’ve had this game, it is difficult to see your held dice/die because of the screen view. My phone and game are always auto to date, so that is not an issue. I cannot recall the last time the game had an update show up, though. It’s really bad when you have four or more die being held. That being said, when I have this issue, I have to turn my screen to landscape mode so I can see which dice are being held. Then the game crashes and I lose the game in progress. Please fix this issue!

### 4/5 — Computer Needs Updating

*2021-10-10, version 1.4*

I like this game except… I play against the computer and there are so many times the computer does not take an obvious play. An example is a play box has 4 fives - the computer will roll a hand containing 3 fives but passes even though the player has no dice in play on the board. What kind of strategy is that?

### 4/5 — Great game

*2021-06-09, version 1.4*

I would like to see a score keeping option so two players could keep playing the game to see who won the most games.

### 2/5 — Not as random as it could be.

*2021-06-08, version 1.4*

Too many times I will roll the same combo in a row, like three 1s. Today I rolled a 1 six turns in a row! I’m not saying that’s impossible, but it’s highly improbable. Meanwhile the computer players get the dice they need to score points at a much higher rate. Only got this app because it was in a bundle with Tsuro, and I have the physical game at home.

### 1/5 — Abandoned game

*2026-08-03, version 1.4*

The developers have abandoned this game and it shows. The last update was 7 years ago and numerous people have already commented about how much it lags and auto rotates. This game could be great if the developers cared enough to fix the issues. The lag is horrible. Just starting up the game there is already so much lag and the screen is constantly rotating on its own with no way to fix it. A real shame to have a great game get left behind by its developers.

### 1/5 — Avoid

*2026-05-17, version 1.4*

This used to be one of my favorite iPad games. I originally gave it a 5-star review.

Then something happened. A bad update? A missing update? I don’t know.

The screen now rotates after every play. There is no reason for it. It makes me seasick.

The developer has evidently abandoned this game. So there’s no help there.

### 1/5 — Makes me dizzy!!!

*2025-12-01, version 1.4*

After every go, the game flips and makes me dizzy!!! It’s extremely annoying and frustrating. Can this PLEASE be fixed?

### 1/5 — Very laggy

*2025-11-24, version 1.4*

The game lags really really bad. Waste of my money. Who cares if it was only $2.

### 1/5 — Why do I have to “wiggle” the phone?

*2025-10-25, version 1.4*

It hasn’t been updated in 7 years and it shows. I just gave up because I had to keep shaking the phone.

### 1/5 — Needs update

*2024-05-16, version 1.4*

This was a fine game when it worked properly. Now the screen auto rotates after every roll, making the game annoying. I know it’s an older game but please fix it, because it’s fun!

### 1/5 — Vertigo inducing board rotation

*2024-02-25, version 1.4*

They have some sort of rapid board rotation animation that is completely unnecessary. And there is no option to turn it off. Otherwise the game seems really fun, and I will definitely buy a copy of the physical game.

### 1/5 — Annoying UI Bugs

*2024-01-12, version 1.4*

The UI changes orientation on each turn. This happens even if orientation is locked.

### 1/5 — Please update this once 5 star app

*2023-04-22, version 1.4*

I used to love playing this until iOS 16 update. Now every time I roll the screen image rotates/spins on the screen making it too dizzying to play.

### 1/5 — Biased AI

*2023-03-23, version 1.4*

Far too biased to roll what the AI rolls and the convenient rolling of exact matches when you are one away for a card win.
Disappointing experience that is nothing like a real game.

### 5/5 — Love this game!

*2020-05-11, version 1.4*

### 5/5 — Love it

*2020-04-20, version 1.4*

Only wish more people would play it online and the actual game. We waited for 2 years for the actual game to come out and it is incredible!

### 5/5 — Génial

*2020-02-08, version 1.4*

Excellent jeu qui combine les éléments stratégie et hasard.

### 5/5 — Fun game!

*2020-01-06, version 1.4*

Fun game! I will buy the pack because I want the extra cards. If I pay money for a game then I want it to be updated with new stuff and not once every 2 years until it’s abandoned. Thanks!
