By now Smartphones are being used not only for a fast video post or snapshot occasionally. Create cool and especially smooth videos. This app can support the Rollei Pro Smartphone Gimbal with the following main functions: 1. Settings: You can change settings such as the video quality, a countdown for the face tracking as well as a countdown when a recording is started with the Joystick. 2. Face detection: You can choose between different modes of face detection: just one person, two persons or a group of people. 3. Panoramic modes: There are up to three different panoramic modes: centered panorama, 180° panorama and 360° panorama. Gimbal läuft super, aber App auf dem iPhone XR nimmt nur Bildrauschen auf. Toll, dass mir das erst nach der Aufnahme aufgefallen ist :(. Schöner Mist. ### 1/5 — Guter Gimbal, sehr schlechte App *2019-06-24, version 1.1.0* Der Rollei Steady Butler ist von der Hardware wirklich klasse. Die App dagegen ist extrem schlecht. Und extrem ist nicht mal untertrieben. Ich brauche eigentl. nicht auf die ganzen schlechten Punkte einzugehen, das solle jeder Entwickler bei Rollei doch selbst sehen. Aber genau der Umstand hat mich nun dazu bewogen, den Rollei zu verkaufen, und einen DJI Osmo 2 zu kaufen. Allein, und wirklich nur alleine wegen der App bin ich bereit, 70€ Aufpreis zum DJI zu investieren. Das ist schon traurig. Und das ist auch der Grund, warum ich zzu weiteren Rollei Produkten, die eine Appanbindung haben, Abstand nehme. Habe mir den Gimbal gekauft für geniale Videos, Panoramen und Timelaps. Ich nutze die App auf dem IPhone XR. Die Verbindung mit dem Gimbal klappt jedesmal super aber die App ist ebenso jedesmal ein Krampf. Komplette Abstürze beim Anfertigen eines Panos gehören zum Alltag. Timelaps funktionieren auch nur ab und zu. Manche Videos die ich schön langsam mit dem Gimbal drehen möchte speichert die App als unansehbare Videos die wie eine Bildstörung auf einem Fersehgerät aussehen. Auch die Objektverfolgung läuft nicht stabil und entwickelt oft ein seltsames Eigenleben. Ich bin echt am Überlegen ob ich diesen absolut tollen, wertigen und wirklich gut funktionierenden Gimbal aufgrund der grottenschlechten App wieder verkaufe. EBay Kleinanzeigen ist mittlerweile voll von diesen Teilen, wohl weil die User nicht bereit sind mit so einer total unzuverlässigen App zu hantieren. Rollei, Ihr könnt das besser! Also ich erwarte eine Nachbesserung der App ganz im Sinne Eurer Marke, in erster Linie aber aufgrund der heutzutage wichtigen Kundenzufriedenheit! App stürzt häufig beim markieren ab ### 2/5 — Bugged videos and languages missing *2018-12-22* Probably the most of the action intended for the gimbal and for the app are related to filming, and it was quite strange getting almost half of the footages captured within the app all bugged. Instead of the regular images all that appeared on screen was green and purple stripes. The other issue is related to the Option for different languages. Where can the user select the language? The native language from the mobile only works in tutorial, when in the configuration panels there are only strange characters. One cannot understand a thing. Would be a great improvement in the usage of the equipment if the user could actually understand what’s written on each option and, of course, have the motion pictures correctly captured. Sorry, das ist eine Unverschämtheit. Schickt Eure Entwickler doch selbst zum Gucken in den AppStore.
