It’s a stupid dial that doesn’t show the actual temperature you’re selecting and it won’t even change. On top of that the scheduling isn’t a schedule, it’s a timer. I’d like to pick times like between 7-3:30 to have it cut off and turn back on but it’s only giving options for how many hours it operates. Fairly annoying :( ### 3/5 — Change Temp Selector to Digital *2022-06-27, version 2.1.1* I also had trouble pairing. I needed to use my wife’s Samsung phone to pair both a older Rollibot and a brand new one. One thing I like on the android app vs this iOS app is the Temperature selector. On the Android app it’s digital display with plus (+), and minus (-) buttons. I can’t even connect to it, just keeps telling me “connect to wireless network” when I have good wifi available. Must use iPhones 6s *2020-09-18, version 2.0.2* I have a lot of Apple devices in my house and android the only device that actually works to pair was my iPhone 6s Plus. Once it was paired it seem to work on all other devices. So if you may know a friend with one use it to setup the app. (Not successful devices that I tried, iPad 7, iPad Air 2, iPhone XR, Pixel 3a XL (app only flashes on screen then crashes) and a chromebook). The app is Meh, so 3 I may give 4 stars later (once I figure everything out) but definitely 1 star for google play app. ### 1/5 — Not pairing with the “Smart” device 60530 *2020-09-15, version 2.0.2* The BT pairing protocol on this device is horrible. ### 1/5 — A worse app was never written *2020-08-06, version 2.0.2* No matter what I seem to do- this device will NOT pair with my Apple devices. I’ve tried pairing with iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11, iPhone X, iPad Air 2, iPad Air (latest 2020) Tried completely disabling the 5Ghz band on my router to only allow 2.4Ghz connections, nothing. I’m a network administrator, so I’m pretty versed in what should and should not happen and how to troubleshoot. Very poor implementation. Ultimately disappointed in this product and the lack of customer support. ### 1/5 — Impossible to connect app to XFi with iOS *2020-08-06, version 2.0.2* Will not work on iOS with xfinity xfi since their router forces merged 2.4/5 g with same network name and there is no way to select 2.4 with iOS (at least not jail broken anyway) Have to use any old android device laying around, install WiFi analyzer by far proc, forget the WiFi through settings menu, connect by selecting one or two of the 1-6 channels on the AP list in WiFi analyzer, then pair the Android with it. After that, you want to go to your main settings again and forget your network and reconnect. Finally set up. Despite that, YOU MUST STILL THEN HIT THE SLIDE BUTTON TO SELECT BLUETOOTH CONTROL IN THE APP IT WILL NOT WORK WITH A MERGED 2.4g/5g WiFi. The temperature gauge does not work with iOS the wheel doesn’t select a temperature. So I guess I’ll just use the android for it. ### 2/5 — They need to rework this app *2020-07-21* My unit works great however the only way to hook up to Alexa is through this stupid app. No remote. No other way. I can only control my unit from its LeD screen on top. No remote. The app or unit will not connect to my Bluetooth or WiFi. I have used several different phones and still nothing. Pairing timed out. It’s quite annoying. I can’t even get through the registration to actually see if it works with my AC. I don’t have time to waste on silly non usable apps like this. I should have taken heed of the 1.9 star rating and ran in the other direction but I’m stuck with this product that doesn’t ever seem to work as the box said that it would. ### 1/5 — Update? *2024-10-08, version 2.1.2* Won’t let me log in…annoyed ### 1/5 — Rollicool *2024-09-27, version 2.1.2* The app does not work anymore and I can’t use the app to control the air conditioner away from home ### 1/5 — Not how the user manual described it… *2024-09-23* We set our unit up a week ago, and it’s been working great for us. I just got the app downloaded and connected and am disappointed by its lack of functionality. There are spelling errors in the app (e.g. “Fitler Status”), the display doesn’t seem to be designed to properly scale to a screen, and then there’s the actual usability of the app. Thankfully the power on/off function works. When it comes on, it still has the same settings as it did when it turned off. Which is good because, the temperature changing dial is useless. When I tried adjusting, it jumped down to 62, then I tried bumping it up a few degrees and it went to 81. So that function is shot. Then there’s the lack of scheduling. The user manual that came with my unit said you could set “on” and “off” times. However, the only options are timers to have it turn off after x hours. A large reason we chose this unit was for the app control to be able to monitor and set rules for its run time. Requires registration (my email address to control my AC? You have not earned that). Won’t remember my Wifi. Complete waste of time. And hasn’t been updated in 2 years. No matter what I do, I cannot get the app to connect with the Air Conditioner. I have tried multiple troubles-shooting methods. I have disconnected to my 5G network, and only used my 2G WiFi. I have made sure it’s the only app open. I have restarted my phone. I have tried on multiple devices. No matter what I do it just says “connecting” with a spinning wheel for about two minutes, and then says “Error: timeout” It is extremely frustrating because I purchased my AC unit BECAUSE it was smart phone/Alexa compatible. I would have purchased a different brand had I known it would not function with the app. ### 1/5 — 2.4 ghz only? *2022-05-14, version 2.1.1* How stupid, my network doesn’t have a 2.4, only 5 because I have a mesh. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Easy setup and Easy to Use! *2022-07-03, version 2.1.1* Took less than 5 minutes to install app, add device, and setup with my Alexa! Made sure my WiFi was on the 2.4 GHz before registering. App found the device right away and I was able to rename it by clicking on the “more” button at the top right. Installed the skill on Amazon. Got an error message that no devices were found but I went to my main dashboard and clicked on new devices and it was just sitting there. I didn’t give 5 stars since the timer is a one and done timer. I’d like to see a programmable timer for 24 hours and possibly even for days of the week!
