Despite driving very carefully today, my score was an unexpectedly low 70. The app flagged 'hard braking' and 'cornering' issues during a roundabout approach. In reality, I had to brake steadily due to heavy traffic at a 70km/h zone; it was a safe, controlled stop, not a harsh one. Could you please review the sensitivity of your sensors? External factors like phone mount vibration in older cars seem to be causing inaccurate readings. It would be great if the algorithm could better distinguish between actual dangerous driving and minor road vibrations. Thank you. ### 2/5 — Why constant use? *2026-05-31* The app has used my location 20 times in the last two days. I’ve driven once to the shops and back in that time. Yes it drains battery doing this, if it was in app only then at least my phone could be charging while I’m driving. And I agree that it’s far too aggressive in relation to cornering, some corners are tight that doesn’t make my driving unsafe, especially when all the other cars are doing the same speed. I feel like the driving score doesn’t actually reflect me it reflects the driver who stopped at a give way without needing to, the traffic lights that changed in an 80 zone. I’m wondering if I’m going to start running red lights now rather than get a bad score?! And I had to completely disable the permissions when I went on overseas holiday to stop the drain and having to report being a passenger constantly. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work & NO customer service team *2026-05-26* I recently tried this company , the app hasn’t worked no matter how many reinstalls and following all their auto generated self help BS. I’ve used the contact us options on the app and websites 4 times with no responses This company is awful and lacks human interaction. Save your time and sanity and try literally any other provider Budget Direct offers cheaper insurance for same benefits to this joke of a company. ### 2/5 — Battery drain and More admin to maintain *2026-04-01* I like the concept of what Rollin is doing. However, I have noticed a huge battery drain even on days when I’m not driving and just commuting to work on public transport as it is always tracking location. It does not tag them correctly either, most of by bus / tram trips are classified as “Driver” I have to go back to each trip to correct this. ### 1/5 — Made me lose money *2026-01-19* My insurance was on auto renewal and on 18jan2026 instead of renewing it for next cycle this app renewed it for 18feb2026 onwards.
