I used to play this game a lot when I was 7 years old. I’m 17 now. I’ve been playing this game since it released with the original levels: Massif, illusion, sky, forest, desert, volcano, city, sci-tech and I think E-labrynth and Tetris were part of it but Idk. Anyways what Im saying is I was an OG player. I did stop for quite some time, but overall the game had a special place in my heart. I also used to play during a time where Cheetahmobile were not focusing on the game when the latest level was still the 4th anniversary, and was there when they started working on it again. So why am I leaving the game 2 stars? Well I recently updated the game. And I noticed the updated stars of levels. You just can’t put Massif at 2 stars. How? This does not make sense. And How is 1-Up now a 6-star level? They were already good as is, why change it? While on the topic of levels, and this is my bigger complaint, WHY are you changing the original levels? After updating I noticed Massif changed quite a bit. I thought I was tripping but till I played it the level became much harder as the first level of the game. You’re ruining the legacy of the game. The legacy of the original levels which made Rolling sky Rolling sky. I am really annoyed this happened as a person who has a high level of nostalgia for the game. And why are we re-adding levels that originally existed as regular levels? Forest was a pretty good example, it was a part of the original roster, one of my personal favorites, and you made it a limited event level? And Im not even sure they changed the gameplay, this is unacceptable. And HOW is Massif “Re-added”? Gone are the simple design of levels and the unique levels (like 8bit and 1up, Joker and Poker, Reggae, Halloween and christmas), community levels are good, but some of these decisions are unacceptable across the boars. Rolling sky should return to its roots, with the simplistic design and trying new things, unsure whether they’d be accepted. I’m really disappointed with the state of the game now. Sure, Rolling sky had to evolve some way, and community levels are a Great example to be more engaging, but my bigger argument is this: don’t tarnish the legacy. Don’t ruin the old levels. Please leave them as is. ### 3/5 — Goods and Bads *2026-08-26, version 5.5.10* The game is REALLY good like it’s so much fun… after you have to pay like 5 dollar for 24 hours, The annoying ads where there are so many fake x’s and the advertiser acting stupid in his games just gives me a big headache, and the ball limit… WHY DO WE HAVE A BALL LIMIT, The levels are already pretty hard and you waste your ball lives and then you have to watch like a probably 2 minute ad just to get 10 more, Also when this game got banned a few years ago, I actually supported that because I thought that they would go easy on the ads but NO they have us watching 3 minute ads or something like that, And that dang lag bro, even if you have a good phone that lag would always come when your getting a hard ahh crown, the lag also happens when your in the end of a level and it just kills you, The lag makes me go soooo crazy, the game is really fun and kinda makes my blood boil but that’s what makes it good it’s just that you have these other things in the game that are making players quit. ### 4/5 — Quite an Exquisite Game to Play *2026-08-19, version 5.5.9* This game is really fun and addicting. The level songs are amazing (although some are not the best). Even though this game is really fun, there are some cons: 1. There are so many ads like SO MANY. Whenever you crash or fall of the map sometimes it will give you an ad then you can watch ANOTHER ad to get 5min revive JUST FOR THAT LEVEL. 2. Something that really confuses me is that Rolling sky made a 10 year anniversary level in the year 2025…. This game came out 2016… (uh, cheeta mobile? You okay? Cause it seems like you need to go back to kindergarten) 3. Not a lot of children (that I know) knows this game Hey, Cheeta mobile! Can you PLEASE release the anniversary levels on the exact year. Cause it making me think that you are rushing and/or dumb. ### 4/5 — Rolling Sky *2026-08-16, version 5.5.9* Rolling Sky has been a really popular mobile rhythm game for many years. Like most free‑to‑play games, it has attractive features as well as annoying weaknesses. One of its biggest strengths is the wonderful, immersive music experience. Every level comes with its own carefully‑made soundtrack. As you move the ball along the track, your actions follow the beat closely. When you focus fully on the music and movement, you can easily lose yourself in the game. It creates a special feeling that few other simple mobile games can offer. Besides its fantastic sound design, the game gives players plenty of choices. There is a wide collection of levels with different themes and difficulty levels. You can pick easy stages for relaxation, or try hard, challenging ones when you want to test your speed and concentration. This variety means you rarely get bored quickly. However, the game has clear downsides. The most frustrating problem is the large number of advertisements. Advertisements pop up very frequently after you fail a level or finish a stage. They break your rhythm and pull you out of that lovely immersive mood. Sometimes you have no choice but to watch a long ad to continue playing. Another common complaint is technical glitches from time to time. Now and then the touch controls stop working properly. Your swipe may not register, even though your finger moves across the screen. When this happens right before you finish a difficult level, it feels extremely unfair and upsetting. To sum up, Rolling Sky is enjoyable thanks to its great music and rich level selection. Still, too many advertisements and unexpected control failures stop it from being a perfect game. If these problems could be fixed, it would become a much more satisfying experience. ### 2/5 — Not what it used to be *2026-08-15, version 5.5.9* Back when the game was fresh and early, it was very enjoyable. Being younger, I had a lot of fun playing it. Seeing how much fun it was and just to reminisce on the nostalgia, I wanted to get back into the game I once loved so much as a kid. But entering back into this I couldn’t help but feel enraged by the amount of adds taken up to the point where it feels left with 90% adds and 10% gameplay. Yes, the concept is fun. Yes I still enjoy playing it. But after getting through a level or just trying to replay it simply for the gems I shouldn’t have to be bombarded with multiple adds that take over 2 minutes to skip sometimes. It is frustrating. I understand getting into a mobile game you are going to have your fair share of adds as it’s expected, but the amount is so high it makes the game less fun and more of just a way to launch propaganda through any possible way. ### 2/5 — Rolling Sky bug glitches *2026-08-12, version 5.5.8* When I was trying to play some one star to six star levels. There are some levels that doesn’t contain any deadly objects. I know I was wrong, but there’s a visible obstacles that the game company forgot to add or they didn’t know how the hell did they somehow forgot to put back the invisible obstacles that’s not supposed to be invisible when rolling sky introduces new update they should fix up the issue entirely I can get back to these harder and easy levels ### 5/5 — The years of no updates were worth it *2026-08-11, version 5.5.8* I played rolling sky since uhh i think the update the level with the big santa claus was added (right after ghost dance) and i have really liked this game ever since, updates were always great, i still had fun even when there were years of monster city being the latest level, and all the new features are fun including the speed options, i dare someone to try beating 4th anniversary on the fast mode Edit: the game got even better when old versions of levels were added 🔥 ### 4/5 — I like the game, but it’s kinda broken. *2026-08-09, version 5.5.8* I really like the game when you have to time yourself, but it seems your game might have a few problems. 1. Rolling Sky was one of my childhood games, and now each different level brings me back to a certain memory. The artistic choices and songs in this game are what make it special to me, and it’s amazing that even after 10 years the game is still alive and thriving! The gameplay itself is nothing too special, but for what it costs, it’s nonetheless an incredibly well done game!
