Every time I get ready to use it the app goes blank. I have to reopen it and then it keeps asking me to put in a verification code. Then I try again and it goes blank again. This needs to be fixed. ### 1/5 — Awful *2024-09-23, version 1.3.3* Forced to login every time. No way to easily change text size. Very clunky app. Going to return printer because of this unusable app. ### 1/5 — Logging in required all the time *2024-09-07* One major issue driving a 1 star review: I don’t use this often, but every single time I open it, I am logged out of my account and must login again before I can print a label. I like the app in a lot of ways otherwise, but this issues is infuriating, extremely inconvenient and needs to be fixed. Honestly, I just want to print a label on my local printer, I should not even NEED to login to an account. I don’t need to login for my other household printers, so why I need it here is mind boggling. If it’s going to be forced, at least make sure it’s a low-friction process. Beyond that, there is some UI clunkiness, but it is moderately useful. Please change the authentication situation and I’ll rate higher. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Please reach out to Rollo Customer Support so we can isolate your concern. The Rollo Ship account is needed so you can set up your printer using the Rollo App but there are also ways that will allow you to set up your printer without this step. It's highly recommended though so you can also take advantage of Rollo Ship that gives you access to our negotiated rates with UPS and USPS. ### 1/5 — Fail *2024-08-26, version 1.3.1* This app is a huge fail. Can’t even get past the verification step. I’d really appreciate to use the proprietary app but if I can’t even get into the app there is a huge problem with the devs. Fix this. Edit:2 I got the verification codes. The problem with it is I did not get the verification window to apply the code. I could do this in the regular rolo app. How do you goof a simple protocol like that. Y’all need to be more thorough before you push. ### 1/5 — WASTE OF MONEY + TIME *2024-08-23, version 1.3.1* Can’t log in despite spending an entire day conversing with Rollo Support, deleting and re-downloading this app and changing my password countless times. Each time I attempt to log in, the screen does not progress, yet I receive an e-mail for a verification code (which the app won’t let me enter), followed by another e-mail from Rollo stating my log in attempt has been blocked. Rollo support is of no assistance whatsoever. Unless you’re just straight up printing shipping labels, I do not recommend this product or service. ### 1/5 — Fail *2024-08-23* This app is a huge fail. Can’t even get past the verification step. I’d really appreciate to use the proprietary app but if I can’t even get into the app there is a huge problem with the devs. Fix this. **Developer response:** A Multi-Factor Authenticator (MFA) code will be sent to your email's inbox which you will need to enter onto the app in order to change your password and sign in. Rollo Customer Support is available to assist you if you need further assistance. ### 1/5 — Awful *2024-08-22, version 1.3.1* This app destroyed a perfectly good $300 printer by making it impossible for me to print without signing in to their awful app. I've changed my password three times, using multiple emails, and I still am unable to sign in. I want a refund for my Rollo printer ### 1/5 — Wish that it worked *2024-08-22, version 1.3.1* I've been trying for three days (every 20-30 minutes for a good few hours each day) to try to get this thing to connect to my wifi, phone, anything! This has happened every time I turn it on since I first got it, but it's never been this bad. It usually takes about 30-40 minutes for it to connect. I have zero problems connecting other devices via wifi, so I know the problem isn't on my end. Now, when trying to troubleshoot everything, the app isn't even getting past the login screen. So I go to check my email to see if there's anything I'm missing, and they send me a link to contact customer service... the link doesn't take you anywhere. It's just a highlighted line of text. This was absolutely a waste of money, and not worth the constant headache every time I go to use it. And since I don't want to put anyone else through all this, I'm just gonna throw it in the dumpster. I've had it over the return timeframe, and it's been a pain since day one. I would recommend not getting this, as I also bought one for my mom and her business, and the same thing happens every single time. Not worth the money. Do not buy. ### 1/5 — Needs work *2024-08-16, version 1.3.1* Well, I like all the built-in designs they include, this app needswork. Example, I setit for a 4 x 6 label and then choose a design, and the design doesn’t even fit a 4 x 6 label and I can’t figure out how to even preview it for 4 x 6! ### 1/5 — doesn't work *2024-01-04, version 1.2.1* i tried to redownload and all sorts of other options but i can't download files or print from the app anymore. ### 1/5 — Rollo printer does not appear *2023-12-28, version 1.2.1* Rollo design does not show the rollo printer as an option to print labels. Only after I save the label and open it with another program, then I can print it. Makes more time consuming when printing many custom labels. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-11-24, version 1.2.1* The app doesn’t work well, when I want to print a 2x2 label it changes the size to 4x6 and when I want to print 4x6, it prints 2x2. It used to work fine and now it's impossible. ### 1/5 — No longer works *2023-10-21, version 1.2* This used to work, but no longer. I open the app and it just sends me back to the App Store. Round and round… open app, back to App Store, open app, back to App Store. I reached out to Rollo several days ago, but no response. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Awful App *2026-06-21, version 1.3.6* It’s constantly undergoing maintenance, it stifles my daily activities for work. It’s just pure garbage. Edit: responding to Rollo: It was down for 3 days. Stop with the nonsense, please. ### 1/5 — Stopped working *2026-06-21, version 1.3.6* The app is no longer working, won’t even load just white screen completely bricked ### 1/5 — Does not work *2026-06-19, version 1.3.6* I’ve been instructed by customer service to use this app instead of the other Rollo app. I have downloaded this app and it is a white screen nothing more nothing less. I’m assuming there is more functions. This app is supposed to have then showing a white screen, but after deleting and re-downloading over a dozen times there does not seem to be any difference. If I knew this would be such a headache I would’ve never purchased a Rollo printer! ### 1/5 — Don’t buy a Rollo *2026-06-19, version 1.3.6* They are buggy and never work and this app is terrible and won’t open and is a waste. For a small business this is terrible. Buggy and has a flow that is incomprehensible. Try making a simple mailing label and try to add a “from” address and you’ll see what I mean. Pretty annoying. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2025-02-05, version 1.3.4* Can’t log in. Chatted with support and the best they could suggest was to wait and try later. I haven’t been able to print for more than a day. Don’t think you can use your desktop—it is just as bad. Support tried for an hour to get the windows print driver to work. The labels print line there’s a huge margin around the edges. Another of support’s suggestions was to use the browser on my phone. That doesn’t work either because it just opens the inoperative app, even when I request desktop website. ## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works Great!! *2023-07-28, version 1.1* I works great!!! 👍😁 ### 4/5 — Room for improvement *2026-06-10, version 1.3.6* The Rollo works great for shipping labels, but is lacking on the design side. I wish they had a much larger selection of templates to choose from since the UI for designing your own isn’t the best. Most of the suggested categories have 0 templates that pop up - why even have them as suggestions then?Would love more “thank you for your order” type templates. ### 4/5 — Does what it says *2024-09-17, version 1.3.3* I was a bit nervous about this app seeing all the 1-star reviews, but it did exactly what I wanted. I was able to quickly design a label and print it wirelessly on my Rollo WiFi-connected printer. Critically, your iPhone needs to be on the same WiFi network as the printer. But if it is, it’s pretty straightforward. Nice to have the option to use the Rollo for creating stickers that aren’t postage! Only 4-stars since it is a bit annoying that a login is required to use the app and there is no option to login with Apple. ### 2/5 — Needs Improvement *2025-01-28, version 1.3.4* The basics are here, but it has issues. Having to sign in and use two form authentication every time is annoying. No Face ID? Trying to make a label and hit the text button, screen goes white and I have to log out, log back in (same process as above), aaaaand - crashes again. ### 2/5 — Poor Quality Software *2024-12-10, version 1.3.4* Don’t make an app that you have to create an account for and sign when the sign in doesn’t work.
