We are a small indie team and currently the app is earning less than it costs us. Cloud sync and sharing are coming soon, which will add more costs that scale with how many characters people store. We figured 5 characters are enough to determine if the app is useful to you or not, and if it is, we think a one-time payment for lifetime unlimited access should be reasonable (no subscriptions). That said, if the cost is an issue, contact us at contact@daydreamteam.com and we'll figure something out. We want people to enjoy the app and enjoy playing games. But we also want to afford working on this and keep the lights on. ### 1/5 — Does Not Work *2025-04-24* Not bad at first, but now the app will not let me access or edit my characters when I hit the ‘play’ button. I am now exploring other virtual character sheet options. **Developer response:** The issue has been fixed a long time ago, if you'd like to check out the app again, we'd like to hear your thoughts. ### 1/5 — Great Idea, Poor Execution *2025-04-20* They added ways to select features, but the layout is weird. The original app was great and exactly what I was looking for, but now it is difficult to add things and I can barely read the layout. The app is also very slow and sometimes it can’t load my characters. **Developer response:** Hi there :) It's been a while. Would you like to give the app another look, and maybe tell us what still needs improving? A lot has changed since 0.12, and we'd love to hear your thoughts on the changes. ### 1/5 — Does Not Work *2024-05-28* The game just doesn’t work. Once you create a character and select “Play”, it takes you to a perpetual loading screen. You then have to close out of the app just to see any other options again. **Developer response:** The issue has been fixed a long time ago now, if you'd like to give the app another look, we'd be happy to hear what you think. ### 1/5 — BAD BAD BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤬😡🤬😡🤬 *2024-01-11, version 0.8.61* I thought it would be a good app because it was supposed to be a new improved Character Sheet, but then when I opened the app I was making a character and all of the characters had no faces and they didn’t have any colour really it was just like peachy yellow, so I was a bit annoyed, but then I kept on going so it came up with this flavour thing I and then there was a mark in the corner corner so I pressed it and you have to pay for the rest of the whole entire thing i’m questioning why we can’t have the old Character Sheet😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 ### 2/5 — Account Login Screen *2025-06-22* There really needs to have support for password managers on the login screen, or at the very least allow me to paste text into the fields. **Developer response:** Hello, we have introduced 2 options for better text field management in update 0.15.3: you should have access to a built-in clipboard for copy-pasting, and added an optional setting (in the app's Settings menu) to use the native keyboard instead, which should come with all the normal keyboard features. Additionally, the last email to successfully logged in is preserved for future updates - we can not do the same with the password, for security reasons. Do let us know if these changes work out for you, and what else you need to make this app better. Also, the submit button in feedback does not work. **Developer response:** Hello, the feedback issue has been fixed, and the feedback form itself improved. Landscape support is a lower priority at the moment, but it is on our roadmap. If there is anything else we can do for you, let us know :) ### 4/5 — Pretty cool *2024-07-19* It’s alright, not very good for regular dnd BUT it’s good for a home brew. ### 5/5 — Roleplay Freedom *2026-06-28* Been searching for a intuitive character sheet app that allowed for creative freedoms and finally found it. There’s a very small learning curve, but I will be using this app from now on for all characters. ### 5/5 — Long-term user of daydream apps *2026-05-09* The original app “ Character Sheet” was exactly what I wanted. A ultra customizable and system with customizable images associated with every ability/note/backstory detail I could think of. This app is well on its way to become just as good or even better than processor I still use the original app frequently due to its versatility but this new app will one day surpass it give it a chance and some patient. It may be only one year-old, but it will level up with our feedback.
