I often find it is incorrect. For example, today, I checked how to get from Kowloon in Hong Kong to the airport. It gives completely wrong information, combining two separate metro lines into one at a junction that is very obviously impossible. ### 3/5 — Confusing *2026-08-18, version 2026.08.10* Confused how this apps road eta is so different than reality? There is even an “open in maps” button which shows the correct time to the destination when you open your preferred map app. Why can’t you pull that data? ### 2/5 — Incomplete Info, too many ads *2026-06-21, version 2026.03.03* Here in Croatia now and they only provide a few of the available routes, not all. For example they’ll only show routes from one ferry company to a destination when there are two or three companies that service the same destination and at different days and times. Also the interface can sometimes be confusing with just way too many ads which often take up more than half the screen. Lots of room for improvement. ### 2/5 — Need to change the map *2026-06-08, version 2026.03.03* I’ve normally been a fan of this app/site for many years but I’m not ok with “Palestine, Israel” showing up when I search Palestine. ### 2/5 — Let down by new update *2026-05-10, version 2026.03.03* This used to be my favorite app for solo traveling. As you could get around easily without really needing to talk to locals in other countries. However this new update has completely ruined it. For some reason when I search for a destination it won’t provide me the specific lines (bus # or train line) to get to a destination. More recently all the directions for metro are saying “No schedules available” even though there are trains running. Rome2Rio developers, I loved your app, if there’s any way to fix this please let me know. ### 3/5 — Non prise en compte du métro tram *2026-04-14* J ai testé l application sur mon trajet Lille -Seclin et il m a proposé un tarif train presque 3 fois plus cher car pas prise en compte que dans la Mel sur ce trajet on peut circuler avec un simple ticket de métro ilévia à 1,80€ au lieu de 3,78€ propose par la sncf pour le ter. (Российские пол зоватнли правда к такому привыкли в 2Гис), но ужас в том, что нет поддержки загрузки города. А что если у меня внезапно пропал интернет через есим (как у меня была недавно в Казахстане), куда мне тогда бежать и что делать? In fact, my husband and I discovered that we had to set our trip a day later than we need in order to get the right day to pop up. We primarily use it to plan trips as a multi destination planner. The phone ap is good for point to point navigation but not for lengthy trip planning. The day they allow you to login to view and edit your aves trip itineraries is the day the ap will become invaluable to seasoned travelers and worthy of 5 stars. I was able to get the bus to places thanks to the app knowing the times and bus numbers to get to my destinations! I saved a small fortune on taxis by using the app for bus routes! Highly recommend if you need something straight forward to tell you all routes to where you want to go! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Why change it *2026-04-25, version 2026.03.03* This was a great app but the changes now have rendered it unusable. It used to show how many stops and their names but now one needs to go to the train operator. For example, they list ferries as being able to accept cars, but when I go to the ferry provider website and spend endless amount of time trying to find the car ferry only to discover they don’t offer it. This is just one example, but find myself having frequently wasted my time following their suggestions. ### 1/5 — Makes up routes that don’t exist *2025-03-14, version 8.4.0* This app used to be good, but twice I’ve attempted to use it recently and it has told me to get a train that doesn’t exist. Routenfindung kann ich auch mit google/apple maps machen und für den Ticketkauf wird die Omio Seite aufgerufen. Ja dann kann ich auch gleich die Omio app nutzen. ### 1/5 — Disaster *2024-10-13, version 8.4.0* Loaded a trip with many stops on the website and it disappeared. Tried again by downloading the app to iPad, but using a browser. Computer version has no save button, but states so it will save automatically. I loaded over 60 trips and refreshed the iPad. iPad and computer both showed up in full. I went back to the iPad and the trip had disappeared. I wanted to save on the computer but there is no option. Some of the blogs say to click a save button top right, but there was no save button. Needless to say, I won’t risk it a third time ### 1/5 — Klappt nicht *2024-08-21* Die App bietet prinzipiell eine gute Übersicht über mögliche Verbindungen. Leider hat sie bei mir mehrfach schon nicht geklappt sobald es um die Buchung geht. Entweder ich kann nicht zahlen oder (passiert fast immer) es kann die Verbindung nicht mehr gefunden werden. Scam. *2024-07-22, version 8.4.0* Trying to map a train from Amsterdam to Frankfurt and this app lied/miscalculated by almost 2 HOURS! The app says 3:48, while the actual fastest time by train is 5:35. It even lied a second time by showing the selected trips time, which was 4:58. Where they get their information from is beyond me.
